Worked great with a few connectors I was able to try it on. Not all connectors are made the same so a tool or two isn't enough to cover all the possibilities. The connectors I did get to try it on, the tool was amazing and I wish I had something like these a long time ago.

While most people would never have any idea of what these particular pliers are for or why they’re so useful, those of you who understand their niche-use will appreciate their quality construction and utility.I have destroyed more than one automotive locking connector, to my great woe. The very design that makes such connectors so very useful can make them almost impossible to detach given the often inaccessible locations in which they’re found. If any of this makes sense to you, yes, you need these.

As a shade tree mechanic, one of the most frustrating things to do is disconnect electrical connects that don't want to be disconnected. These pliers make it easy and I wish I had them years ago. The quality and finish are sufficient for tools that are seldom used and therefore they are a good value.
