Great idea but mine came in and the tubing was bent up so it doesn’t work well

I’m just starting to get into diamond art painting and I now realize how painstaking the whole process is of picking up these really tiny little diamonds and trying to place them perfectly on the canvas. Wow! You have to have really good eyes, good steady hands, and lots of patience! So I decided to make the hobby a little easier on me and a lot more fun by getting this vacuum tool! The little vacuum creates just enough suction to easily pick up one of the diamonds and then place it effortlessly. No gooey wax needed! Such a great invention! It even comes with a little tray for organizing rows of diamonds to pick up. The applicator has a nice ergonomic shape that is comfortable to hold for long periods of time. It works for just about any size and shape of diamond/gem. The hose comes out of the end of the applicator so I can keep it out of my way and away from my painting. The vacuum plugs into a USB port and has an on/off button switch right on the cord. The motor is relatively quiet. The pink color is really pretty, too.

Received it with a crimp close to the pen. I’ve tried so many different way to use it, that I can get it to work about 1/2 the time. Too much trouble.

This tool does make it easier to pick up the diamonds and place them on the canvas. It is a bit noisy though and you do have to watch out for kinks in the hose. Other than that, it's a nifty little item. I wonder if there will be addon's to this product to potentially pick up more than one diamond at a time. I wonder if that's possible.

I returned this. The wire the air is supposed to flow through was bent on arrival and I couldn’t get it to unbind. So the suction was not there.

The vacuum diamond art pen is so great, it is simply to operate but plugging it into a USB and clicking the on/off button. The power cord and vacuum hose is nice and long and does not get in the way when using the pen. The motor of the vacuum has a slight hum, but it is not overly loud, the vacuum is nice and strong for getting the diamonds out of the container and the diamonds hold strong for you to be able to place it on the sticky art. I highly recommend the vacuum pen for diamond painting that way you do not have to worry about the wax or tack that you normally use, this is a game changer for diamond painting.

I am still fairly new to the diamond painting hobby. I ordered this as I do not like having to reapply the wax every few minutes. It takes up time and then if you get too much on the tip, then it leaves a string on the bead and wax on the canvas. I ordered this as the concept is fantastic. What I liked most:* Suction type of application of drills/dots* Fairly quiet, you can hear this buzzing but it isn't terribly loud* Smooth feel of the barrel* Suction tubing is 3 ft long, so plenty to work with* USB power supply* Great suction (I tried it with metal back larger beads and it held)* On/off button so can leave it plugged inCons:* My unit came with a kink in the tubing right at the handle, which means the suction is a little less and I feel like I have to hold the tubing to get good suction* No attachments, so while it is great when you need/want to gather one dot/drill at a time, it takes far longer with same color areas that I can use a nine drill/dot attachment.Experience: I have to say, I was impressed with this vacuum pen. My pen came with a bent tube, when straightened out, it has amazing suction. No wax needed, no matter the weight of the crystal/rhinestone/drill/dot. Which also means no messy wax residue on the dots after placing and you can use the pen tool to push the drill/dot perfectly in the slot without losing your wax, as you don't need any. These vacuum pens need multi-drill/dot attachments. I am going to try to drill holes in my wax ones to see if I can attach it to this vacuum pen. It would be hard to develop an adapter for this pen. So if you are reading this, make the attachments and sell them as a set and at least one with the pen like a three drill/dot attachment. That would put you ahead of the others who make similar pens. This pen would be well worth the money if there was an attachment and the tubing wasn't bent.
