Great light weight guitar, resonates as a electric and acoustic. I love to use the clean settings I enjoy playing open chords because it sounds like a high end acoustic guitar. To me this is one of the most underrated guitars. I like how it sounds it's in between humbuckers and single coil this works great for me and those who like jangly Rock and I like to use it for classic Rock obviously as well as post grunge, psychedelic stuff and softer commercial rock. I like creating my own compositions and working on making songs that are melodic. I love using minor and major modes on this guitar it has the soul of the 60s and shows that music csn still be timeless ans meaningful and you can always tie your sound with the 60s becuse the music had such a big impact on the world I love all contemporary players especially the 60s. It makes working and performing my songs funeral and makes working on my craft smooth ad the neck and finish helps me perform and practice parts of songs smoothly. I love using my practice amp with this guitar it doesn't feel like a toy and feels like something valuable for once. I bought this because John Lennon played it in 1966 especially one of the greatest albums of all time! Revolver it's such a great album with experimentation and musical tastes that stands in the test of time very legendary! Kieth Richards and George Harrison and Brian Jones used it in addition so that made me want it, but this is more Lennons model and I am more of a rhythm player. Also big Oasis fan and they used Epiphone models Sheraton, Riviera, etc.. I just love Epiphone. The specs I favor as much as I like the design I like the P 90s the neck is comfortable. I prefer slim D taper that's what makes me very pleased with this purchase the design and craft is very legendary I think it's one of the most best looking luxury guitars thats ever been created and I think its notnthe most versatile and alot of people nowadays prefer Gibson, and other models becuse this is more vintage it has so much thought to it as good as it looks it sounds great it makes you want to play more what a great experience!. Its perfect to the eye it plays out as a great display in my room very pleased and thanks to the guys at Epiphone and I love being part of the family! Cheers for more years maybe I down the line I might purchase another model. I choose this over a squier affinity telecaster, SG Special and squier classic vibe 60s Jazzmaster limited edition I wanted something different so I know it wouldn't disappoint purchasing a Casino. I'm other models it's a hassle you get a guitar that needs new pickups especially low end models you need to change machine heads and pickups at most I had a couple more end models and rarely enjoyed them. I think you get what you pay for and this is more affordable then any Gibson thanks to the built in sound and pickups it's my new favorite toy.

Item was described as in very good condition, no mention to defects, but it has a big crack on the top and also in the body side. The wood was crumbling in those areas.

The Epiphone Casino was nicely packed and after opening and a 20 minute inspection for imperfections I was left with just admiration. First job was to change the string from the 10's fitted to a set of 09's which as most know, most players job after buying a new guitar, it has always bewildered my as to why 10's are always fitted as very few people tolerate them preferring super light gauge. A few adjustment for my own liking it was time for a polish, there was some discoloration to the silver hardware due to the amount of time it was in stock, no problem though it was soon remedied with a good lemon cleaner and now looks fabulous. The fact that the guitar is an Epiphone original in effect with no Gibson model, I feel this made the decision to buy it very easy, unlike the fact that I purchased an Epiphone SG a couple of weeks back which I am also very pleased with!!!The whole construction of the Casino is spotless, beautiful to look at and a real pleasure to hold and play, same goes for the hardware other that what I mentioned earlier, the tuners surprised me as the tuning was so easy and the guitar staying in tune for some time even though the strings were new.Regarding the description presented showing the Epiphone Casino Coupe's this is not a Coupe as some have been confused by, it is a full size Casino only noticeable on the pictures by the amplifier jack input showing on the side pictures next to the original description at the top of the page. Although in reality the Coupe is cheaper in price and smaller bodied model looks very similar it is quite a lot smaller than the full Epiphone Casino and at Musik Produktiv GmbH's low price of £439 it's easy to get confused. All in all this is a beautiful instrument and it is easy to see why the Beatles purchased these all those years ago and although the build was slightly different the latest issues are, in my view, still capable of producing all those sounds and tones with the right settings applied. If you are a Beatles lover, Oasis or other 90's type indie group lover then don't hesitate in buying one of these, you won't be disappointed!!Pure Magic!!!!!!

Great classic style and sound. I'm new to guitar playing but I think I made a great investment. My teacher made it sound great but I've got work to do.

I have owned my Epiphone Casino now for nearly ten years, and this powerhouse of an instrument is still the most comfortable guitar to play that I own. The neck is comfortable and doesn't require long fingers to play, the guitar is light and doesn't get heavier throughout the night, and it has a vibe all it's own.One bonus is that since this is a full hollow body guitar, playing it unplugged while practicing sounds like an acoustic guitar! You don't get that from a solid body. The only hardware that I upgraded was the bridge to a tuneomatic....the original one would occasionally buzz....now it's pristine, and sounds better with each passing year. No wonder why John lived his so much.I would buy another one in a heartbeat.

I have had many over the years, this one is no different. Beautifully made (in Korea) nice sound, mellow jazzy (as it should be). The one I bought was used, 2006 and had aged well. The electronics are nice for the price. I know many who upgrade the pickups, but to start, it's not necessary. I really like the tuners, small, but easy to use and pretty descent on get the strings tuned accurately. They are tight, no play as some cheap ones have. These are becoming more and more popular, if you have the cash, grab one!

This is the last thing I ever buy from Amazon, shipping updates are non-existent and lately for some reason they send everything through Fedex, which is a horrible company. Nothing ever is on time and their customer support is garbage. So for time sensitive stuff such as books and other school and work related materials you'll be screwed. This was once a good service but can't keep up anymore, so moving on.The guitar is great. I had a chance to try it in my local store and the sound is unbelievable. I don't really need to say much about the guitar it's an Epi Casino (don't care where it's made, it's good quality).
