Had this ladder for about a year. From the moment I unboxed it, I didn’t like it, but didn’t want the hassle of returning it. It is very rickety and unstable. So I rarely use it. Normally I will carry my heavy duty adjustable ladder. This thing does not lock in the “down” positions. So when you pick it up, it will extend. Locking arms move down to unlock, not up, like every other ladder ever invented. That downward unlock finally got me today. The ladder flexed, as I mentioned, not stable at all, and caused the locking arms to unlock. That in turn caused the ladder to partially collapse…sending me falling about 5’ onto my backside onto pavement. Now I can’t even stand up straight!! Whatever you do…do not buy this ladder, it is very unstable!!

The compact nature is very good, but it is not as sturdy as implied, you should definitely have a second person holding ladder if you are up on it

I like that when transporting in my car, this ladder doesn't take up a lot of space. It's reasonably light and can be carried, and unfolds into a great sturdy ladder.
