I replaced the one on my lift with this, it’s awesome locks wheel in I can get off and I am not worried about bike falling over while I strap it down. I would still use straps obviously just for safety.

The other reviewers share most of my feelings but I’ll add a few. I’ve had over 50 of bikes over my 64 years, and have 5 now, with my 1981 Goldwing Interstate being the largest @ 800#. This Should not be asked to hold the bike vertical by itself. With all the straps I always use on the bike when transporting it, all it really does for me is act as a front wheel stop on my flatbed trailer. I opened the mounting bolt holes up for larger bolts, and put shim washers under the thin base where the bolts go through to keep the base from sagging.

Mounts easily with included hardware. If I were going to improve anything the spacers included could be may be an 1/8th inch thicker and a morning template would help for the average person. So far very well pleased, time will tell about durability

I bought 3 of these. The first one I actually got at harbor freight. It worked well and was cheap enough so I ordered 2 more from amazon.For what you pay these are decent, but I did look at my first one which i've had for about 2 months and it already has some surface rust, not only on the bolts, but on the painted surface. It gets very minor use (only used it actually 4 times). But it does stay outside.Either way, not a bad buy, but I do wish they coated it a little better for extra protection.
