You definitely need to have mechanical ability to replace valve seals, If you have concerns you should call a shop. If a cylinder leak down test confirms good ring seal. Most likely it is your valve seals. My tracker was using a quart of oil in less than 500 miles (168000) miles, with no oil leaks. Now I have driven 1000 miles and dip stick shows very little oil loss. Yes this kit works !!
