These are obviously well made tuners, but I bought them thinking they'd be lighter than the tuners on my MIM jazz bass. In fact, they are 0.5 grams heavier per tuner. So, until I build another bass they just sit in a closet, unused.

These lefty tuners from Fender are of excellent quality and fine polished finish. Bushings are plastic and too tall for 1/2” thick peg head. Works only with minimum 5/8” thick head stock, and with 18mm holes. The set is surprisingly light weight, and so can help with certain basses that are head heavy. As these tuners are intended for use on left handed guitars they’re equally suited for use on some right handed guitar necks with reversed headstock. Made in Korea. Featured on certain Fender USA model basses.

Have you tried to find a set of Fender 5-string bass tuners lately? Yeah, same here - they don't exist in the real world. But check this out; get a set of 4 RH tuners and add one more from a set of LH tuners. Keep the other 3 for future projects, or trade with other modders for parts you need.
