Okay, let’s look at this Feyachi Brass Catcher. I was getting tired of constantly bending down to collect brass at the range. I also reload my own ammunition, so losing brass means losing money. After dealing with cheaper, flimsier brass catchers in the past, I was looking for something sturdy, heat-resistant, and easy to mount and use. This one has dual-layer mesh construction and Picatinny rail attachment system, which promised a more stable and durable setup. Setting it up was a straightforward process. The included Picatinny rail mount locks in well, and the two mounting plates mean you can switch it between rifles without much hassle. Assembly requires minor adjustments, especially to get the catcher positioned correctly so it doesn’t interfere with ejection, but once dialed in, it works as intended. The mesh itself is a noticeable upgrade from the typical single-layer design - it holds up to the heat without warping, and the stainless-steel reinforcement adds some much-needed structure. The opening is wide enough to catch most spent casings without issue, though its overall size is a little smaller than I expected. It comfortably holds about one to two 30-round magazines' worth of brass before needing to be emptied, which is manageable but not ideal for longer sessions. The zipper at the bottom does make it easy to dump brass quickly, minimizing downtime between rounds. In use, the catcher does what it's supposed to do, but it isn’t perfect. The mount is secure, but there’s a bit of wobble where the bag attaches to the frame. It hasn’t affected performance significantly, but it’s something to be aware of. Additionally, the release lever’s placement can be a bit awkward if you have an optic mounted close to the ejection port. You need to ensure enough clearance, or detaching the catcher might become a hassle. One other minor annoyance is that the screws for the rail attachment and the bag use different heads, meaning you’ll need two tools if adjustments are needed in the field. Overall, this is a solid brass catcher for casual range use, especially if you’re looking for something compact and heat-resistant. While a larger capacity and a slightly more refined mounting system would be nice, it performs well for its price point. If you’re running a high-volume session, you’ll be emptying it frequently, but for most shooters, it’s a convenient way to keep brass collection under control.Bottom line:The Feyachi Brass Catcher is a sturdy, heat-resistant option with a Picatinny rail mount for easy attachment. Its dual-layer mesh construction and stainless-steel reinforcement improve durability, while the bottom zipper allows for quick emptying. It securely catches brass but has minor downsides like slight wobble, awkward release lever placement, and a smaller-than-expected capacity (holding 1-2 mags’ worth). While not perfect, it’s a solid choice for casual shooters looking to simplify brass collection without breaking the bank. I’m giving it a 5-star rating without any doubts, highly recommended!Pros:1. Sturdy, heat-resistant construction.2. Easy to attach with Picatinny rail mount.3. Dual-layer mesh for durability.4. Stainless steel reinforcements for sturdiness.5. Quick emptying with a bottom zipper.6. Effectively collects brass.Cons:1. Slight wobble when attached.2. Awkward release lever placement.3. Smaller capacity, holds 1-2 mags’ worth of brass.4. Not ideal for high-volume shooting.

The Feyachi Brass Catcher Double-Layer Heat-Resistant Shell Catcher with Picatinny Rail Mount seems to be a great quality brass catcher at a solid value. The design appears to be well thought out and I appreciate the ease of use. It comes with two picatinny mounts so you can seamlessly attach the brass catcher to more than one rifle. As of writing this review, it doesn't look like they sell those picatinny mounts separately, which is a bit of a letdown if you have multiple firearms you wish to use this on. Of course you could pull the mount off of another firearm, but it can definitely get annoying if you have multiple firearms you wish to use it on. Hopefully they start selling the rail attachment separately. The instructions for installation are quite clear and it was easy enough to get it set up. The nylon and mesh layer feel quite nice and the frame is sturdy.I only have a couple of MINOR complaints, but for the most part i'm pretty satisfied with this purchase. The issues I have are as follows;1) the quick detach function is a great design, but it isn't as sturdy as it should be in my opinion. When you slide the brass catcher on to the attachment it kind of clicks into place and has an unlock button, but if you just pull the brass catcher without pressing the button, it will come off. With that said I haven't had an issue with it coming off unintentionally, but I thought it was worth mentioning.2) Due to the taper at the bottom and thicker nylon material, it is slightly difficult to get the brass out of the catcher using the zipper at the bottom. You will likely have to shake and manipulate it a bit to get all of the brass out. I find it easier to pull the device off and dump them out from the top.Overall though I think this is a great product that can be slightly improved, but it does everything I expected it to. It offers a solid value in my opinion. No issues with hot brass melting the material. It does its job well at catching the brass. For those wondering it doesn't hold too much. You can get approximately ~45-60 223/556 brass casings in it. You will have to be careful manipulating it when it starts getting filled though as it is easy to move the rifle the wrong way and drop your brass on the ground.
