This is the perfect size plate for butter; however, it is slightly darker than the rest of my Fiestawear set.

I like these and would probably give them a 4.5 but I can't. The simple Fiesta design is pleasing enough, and the Lapis color I chose is a nice blue. Please note there are many more colors to choose from. I was afraid they'd look "shiny cheap" but they don't. They aren't overly shiny. I encourage others to purchase these if they notice them on Amazon and lean towards this style because what you see is what you get, and that's a good thing. They are substantial, but still light, and the footprint is small for a cupboard. They are suppose to be microwave and dishwasher safe also! My tastes don't run to Fiesta ware but these are a gift and they will be well received. The gift receiver needs bread and butter dishes because his current dinnerware set only comes with dinner plates, bowls, and mugs. While plain, they are not cheap looking at all, and are rather an expensive purchase in my opinion. They don't come in a set for (4) and I purchased (8) each so that added up. Even though they are not for me, my only soft complaint is I would have liked them to be about two inches larger around, which would have made them more versatile. Two bagel slices and a spreader on the plate will be slightly crowded. But if this is your style of dinnerware, then you will be pleased--not disappointed with these plates.

My cat loves to eat his canned food off this plate. He can easily reach his food and the plate has no sides that will bother his whiskers. I have used this plate with 3 ounces, 5.5 ounces, and 6 ounces of wet food. If there is a little gravy or juice it will not spill over the sides because the plate is 5/8 inch high and tilted upwards. It is a beautiful plate with a beautiful glaze. Before I was using the Fiesta small bowl for his wet food, but when he ate the sides touched his whiskers and distracted him from eating. I still use the Fiesta small bowl for his dry food and the quart size Fiesta bowl for his water.

Beautiful fiesta plate. The color is so rich and outstanding. I love the fiesta line of products. They are great quality. Great choice of colors too.

This is a great little plate for cookies, snacks, desserts, grilled cheese sandwiches or sandwiches of any kind, kids' meals, etc. It is a fun addition to any Fiesta collection.

These are a nice sized plate to use for dessert appetizers, or a bagel in the morning. They are great quality, and with the Amazon 4 for 3 promotion, they are a better price here than anywhere else that I have seen. They came well packed with no chips or breakage. They go well with my Pfaltzgraff Palmero([[ASIN:B001QFY1GM Pfaltzgraff Everyday Palmero 16-Piece Dinnerware Set]) pattern dinner dishes.
