I’m on my second unit after the first one exhibited unpredictable operation. Both seem to work a couple of days and then cease to operate associated electric door lock even though the green light indicates it should be working correctly.Update:About once each week I have to cycle the power to reset it to working state. Everything appears normal but stops decoding fingerprints? DONT BUY. UNRELIABLE

No instructions included. It's not too difficult to figure out.You long press the "set" button to put in fingerprints. All of the feedback occurs through the fingerprint sensor led which changes various colors. I don't recall what is what but its mostly intuitive. You long press the "mode" button to switch modes, which cycles through leds on the board that indicate which mode it's in. Those markings are in Chinese unfortunately, but there's only three so you can just cycle through and figure it out. Mode 1 is scan fingerprint on the sensor and you hold your finger on the sensor. The relay stays open until you remove your finger. Mode 2 is fingerprint scan once to fire the relay, and then fingerprint scan again to close the relay. Mode 3 is scan your finger and the relay fires and then closes itself after a few seconds. You cannot set the length of the delay.I take a star off for no instructions, 1 star off for no adjustable delay, and then finally, a 1 star for the fingerprint sensor always being lit up at all times, which is not documented anywhere. I am using mine for an inconspicuous security feature and I'd like for it not to be lit up or at least to be lit up only when scanning. This one is not a good fit for me and i'm returning it.
