Design flaw, wire from the outside lock doesn’t let it sit flush with the door letting water to leak in.

very unhappy with this lock. Have had it since January and has yet to consistently work. Have been in touch with customer service and have not been able to get it to work. Customer service (everywhere) needs to understand that they may be working with the older population and electronics are not easy to use or program, or whatever. They always start you "in the middle of the stream" and you not understand HOW TO GET THERE!!! I will continue to work with them a bit longer and probably soon order another unit from another company, as I have been working with it so long it is past the return date. But I have yet to get anything - finger print, code, etc.) to program in and remain until the next time I need it. We have just been using the actual key which defeats the whole purpose. And I gave it a 1 only because it arrived!!!

These are pretty nice and easy to install, but the door has a difficult time recognizing people's fingerprints. I finally created several profiles for the same person and listed each person's name as "name.thumb1", "name.thumb2" etc. So that several of the same person's thumb/fingerprint could be scanned so that there is a better chance of the person's fingerprint being recognized. It still has issues, but not as often.I have no problems with the key card or manually putting in the code.I bought 6 of these for my house and all work fine except one. The one says it is "unlocked", but you have to lift up the handle all the way and then push it down to actually open the door.I also believe that by having the raised keypads instead of the touch screen ones, that it is easier to put in the codes in the wet rainy weather along with when we get snow. It is also easier to feel the keys for visually challenged people having the keypads raised when you can feel the individual buttons.I really like the doors and I have been happy with my purchase.

Just installed it in Canada where it gets to -20 Celsius and works so far. But what they don't tell you is if you want to unlock it using WiFi you need to buy a wifi hub for $50. So the wifi part is a lie with out paying extra for the hub. Just an FYI

This Smart Lock works perfect every time. I have it set to my thumb print and also several passcodes. It works in bad weather (rain, fog, etc.) and bright sun. The app works fine as well.
