This fingertip pulse oximeter makes it very easy to check my heart rate and oxygen saturation. For just $10 delivered, it is an excellent value, especially since the batteries are included. It's very easy to clip onto my finger after a workout. The screen is clear even outside in the sun.

Works as expected. Gives readings almost instantly. I am not a medical professional and have not been able to compare to other proven certified means of measuring, but seems to work well.

I compared this to a hospital grade Pulse Oximeter, I put this on one finger and the other on a different finger. The results I got with this meter were zero to 1 % higher SpO2 than the hospital grade ones I tried. The results for the pulse rate were the same.A greater than 1 % difference can be caused by taking a deep breath or positioning your arm at a different angle. This pulse ox only has one button, you use that button to turn it on, change the display orientation, and change the settings. This works OK once you get used to how to make changes and enter them.It is a long press to enter the menu and enter changes, and a short press to change display orientation or change settings. There is no button to turn it off, it just does an auto power down when it is not taking a measurement. The use of common AAA batteries is nice, no need to find expensive Lithium coin cells.

This fingertip pulse oximeter is much better than the one my wife purchased from Walmart. With a clear and bright OLED screen and soft silicon cave, I am delighted to use it. And getting the result in just 5 seconds! It works well, although I cannot really understand the optional data analysis function, after reading the user manual, however, its basic functions are good enough for me, and maybe I will explore the data analysis later. My grandson is just 4 years old, and he wants to be a doctor. He has seen my wife using a fingertip pulse oximeter, and was very curious about it. Now, this new one can accommodate fingers from kids to adults, I will teach him how to use it, so he can play doctor with a real medical instrument! And, perhaps, I will let my grandson keep it as an educational toy.

This is a very nice pulse oximeter, compact in size, and easy to use. Press the power button to turn on, then press again to change the orientation of the information on the screen. The device helpfully comes with a lanyard to make it easy to hold or carry around. The device appears to be accurate with the oxygen level and heart rate.

The oximeter arrived in a glossy coloured cardboard box with no tamper proof seals and an inner cardboard former. The contents comprised:-- The oximeter itself in a soft plastic bag for protection.- A fabric lanyard in a small plastic ziplock bag This attaches to a hole in the oximeter and includes a clip to easily attach and detach the oximeter from the lanyard.- Two AAA batteries in shrink film. These had Chinese labelling so I could not see if they were alkaline.- A black and white glossy folded A4 sheet user manual. This is in English only. It is very comprehensive and well written. The oximeter is turned on by pressing the single button. It shuts off automatically after 8 seconds when there is no finger present. When running, pressing the button cycles through all the display options. The display is small, but has a high resolution and is in colour.A long press of the button enters menus where you can configure language, alarms, a bleep for pulse, brightness and data analysis. The latter allows the device to record readings over a period of time, then display the results as a graph or statistics.Overall, this device seems to be robust and good quality. It is very straightforward to use with a surprising amount of functionality.highly recommended.

I really like this pulse oximeter, but I'm only giving it 4 stars because the display does not rotate like it's supposed to. It may just be that mine is defective, but the display stays in a fixed horizontal position no matter which way the device is oriented. With that out of the way, I'll explain why I like this one so much: It's able to read my pulse-ox every time. I'm small and have small, fingers that are almost always cold. I've got two other pulse oximeters that work fine on my husband's fingers, but are very iffy on my fingers -- sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. This one, however. always gives me a reading!I also really like that it shows you PI%. I didn't even know what that was, but after reading about it, it's a helpful measurement for someone like me with cold, hard to read fingers. What I learned is that if it shows my PI% is towards the low end, (.02%-20% is normal), my oxygen could be reading less accurately and I should warm up my fingers and try again.

This finger-tip pulse oximeter arrived in a small cardboard box. Inside the box is the oximeter, 2 AAA batteries, a fabric strap, and printed user instructions. Firstly, the instructions have very small text which is not suitable for people with eyesight problems, and so the instructions are not fully clear. The box says the oximeter is made in China, not to use or store in extreme temperatures or humidity, and to keep dry.The oximeter I received is blue in colour and made from a hard and sturdy plastic. You insert your finger into the oximeter, press the on button, and after 5 seconds it starts to display information like blood oxygen saturation levels, and heart pulse rate. There is a battery indicator so you know how much power is remaining in the batteries. It is fairly easy to use with just one button operation, and it automatically turns off when it is not in use. The OLED digital display is bright and clear, and you can clearly see the numbers and line graph showing the pulse. You can adjust the orientation of the display depending on the position of the person reading the display. The oximeter is skin friendly and portable meaning you can take it anywhere with you. It displays the real-time oxygen level and pulse rate. This is a small portable and good quality oximeter, and I found it accurate when displaying oxygen levels and pulse rate. It is very useful for different medical conditions or just to monitor your general health and wellbeing. Everyone should have one of these devices, definitely recommended.

A very useful health meter that will help keep an eye on you blood-oxygen levels, easy to use and gives a good clear display that has a number of different views dependent upon what information is really appropriate for you. This isn't wholly aimed at someone who has a health concern or needs to monitor their health, but if undertaking exercise it's useful to establish if there are any issues or feeling unwell it can give an idea on how well the respiratory system is working, and also how the pulse is going to see if you are overdoing it! Smart watches often have them to measure as a fitness indicator. This one is typical, construction is good and with a bright, large text, multiformat screen- which generally shows the same information but in various orientations and sizes, and it's easy to fit, it measures continually when it's on a finger (no nail polish or false nails)It comes with 2 batteries and a lanyard which means you can start immediately.Note that the instructions vary from useful to boggling and you may just want to check the correct usage on the net,, the target values aren't given, but are on the Amazon page and effectively above 95% is the good zone, below that monitor and if decreasing see advice.

A close relative has recently had a major operation and I wanted this Pulse Oximeter to check their heart rate and blood oxygenation. The display is very clear and the readings start almost immediately after the finger tip is inserted. I think for anyone who is unwell or has a health concern, this little gadget is indispensable. If you understand what the readings mean that is. I have knowledge of what a regular heartbeat is and a safe blood oxygen saturation. However, if you don't, you're not going to find the answer in the ridiculously complicated instructions pamphlet. They're mind boggling to read and for the most part utterly irrelevant.I don't know what the PI (Perfusion Reading) on the display is for, and the only way I'll find out is by searching for the answer online. I thought that the instructions would be clear and helpful, but there is nothing to help you understand or interpret the readings in there whatsoever. You can change the display, though how to do that is not explained. Hint, I found that if you press the power button once and slightly to the left or right the display will change to how you want it.Hold the power button down and you can scroll through a menu. Here you can choose to save data or make the screen brighter. The device itself appears to be well made and accurate, having tested it out on family members several times and compared our readings. I have no quibble with the manufacturing. It also comes supplied with two AA batteries so that it can be used straight away.If you just want to quickly check your heart rate and blood oxygen, this is a very good device for doing that. Any further analysis probably requires a medical degree because it's frankly unfathomable. I've asked family members to read the instructions and they are as flummoxed as I am. I've still given it a high rating however, because for my purposes, it does what I need and I feel reassured that it works as it is supposed to.

The read on this is accurate and the ability to rotate the screen orientation and display to your preferred viewing angle you just tap the button. My only issue was the learning curve initially to get it to start recognizing my finger and starting the read. The provided lanyard is a nice touch to keep it close by and prevent misplacing it.
