When you remove the attachment of the shifter you noticed the screws it comes with are better with a wider washer and even rubber washers the you compare the ones you got and they are slim and no rubber so friction is inevitable.The video that is on YouTube is a good walkthrough so you shouldn’t have problem but make sure you left the shifter at 2H or 4L and don’t move it when applying it.Easy to install and is way way better than the OEM shifter

$185 broke the moment I needed it the crimps let go now wont shift at all had to lay in snow puddle to shift it manually to get out ruined the entire trip soaked and freezing

I put this in my 98 98 TJ SE and I love it. Was not bad to stuff in and adjust.

Not all 4 bolts lined up with holes on large plate bracket, had to drill one. Used washers and original bolts. After full installation had to go back and adjust directions for getting adjusted were not well defined.
