This works pretty good. Caught a bunch of flying insects I didn't even know were in the house. It even caught a bee that must have sneaked in the house somehow!

Put in my camper. With in the weekend it was full of bugs. Better there then bugging is at night!

I got this for flies that come in the house constantly. I had 3 flies on the sticky pad within a couple hours. It’s been a few days and now there are even more, so it’s working! It seems to be good quality and the light is nice and bright (it’s adjustable) to attract them.

I was quite impressed to see that this thing did manage to capture a number of insects, including a big black house fly (you know the ones, they get so big and dumb that they fly into a window or your light bulb over and over until they die from exhaustion). The image I'm sharing is after one week of it installed by my kitchen sink. Yes, it is kinda gross to see all of the bugs that are crawling or flying around where you eat and sleep, but I'll chalk some of this up to the fact that I live in a poorly insulated century home in a city with plenty of cracks and holes for them to creep in and live.I mainly wanted to use it to catch these house flies, because I kept seeing them in my home. This product managed to catch a few, but in addition to me getting them the old fashioned way with a swatter I was able to neutralize the bugs. The pad they're on is very, very sticky, and it doesn't take much for anything to seal its own fate once it decides to hang out under the bright blue light.That leaves me to the light itself. I tested it for a week without using the light, there's a dimmer switch allowing you to adjust the intensity, with it switching to a white night light when turned all of the way down, and I got significantly less insects stuck. In my experience, even though it isn't that purplish UV light that attracts bugs with an outdoor zapper, it seems to have some sort of effect nonetheless. The problem I have with it is that it's quite a bright blue light. I didn't really have a need for it anywhere else other than my kitchen, which is also my main entryway into the home, but I would not like that light on anywhere I'd be sleeping.The box came with one extra sticky pad, and also a number of other replacement pads. I'm not sure how full it can get before bugs stop being interested because of all of the carcasses strewn about, but in this photo I feel like I could have continued using this for some time with results. It's easy to handle, with the designated pull tab on top, so there's no real concern of touching anything you wouldn't want to, and believe me you really don't want to touch the pad even without any bugs, a quick test had my finger stuck immediately even after being exposed to the air over 3 weeks later. That's why I feel the bugs will no longer be interested before the pad collects enough particles from the air to lose its effectiveness.I would recommend this for a passive remedy to any problem area you may have with insects, like my high traffic kitchen, hut due to the light itself being a bit too bright and blue I recommend placing it somewhere where it won't annoy you as much if it's possible. Obviously it must be placed where the bugs are being found to begin with so that will certainly be the ultimate decision factor for its placement.

If you have issues with flying insects in your home, you can use this device to capture some of them, but not all types, as some flies don't seem drawn to it at all. The light is also very bright for a dark room. It's serviceable but not the best of these options. The design is solid and should catch bugs.
