It works very well for marinades however it is very small, you need to buy several if you want to marinade for mor than two portions!

This marinates REALLY well with the food saver. The directions were easy, and the food is filled with flavor very quickly! I've used it multiple times and my family loves the food it makes!!

After being disappointed by other vacuum containers that did not keep my lettuce fresh, I bit the bullet and purchased this one. It works great. My lettuce stays crunchy and green. Worth every penny. I will be buying more of these containers. Highly recommend.

Overall, they work well and I like them, however, I have had two covers fail quite spectacularly.The first one failed as I was pulling a vacuum with my Foodsaver. The second one imploded inside the refrigerator yesterday evening.I heard a loud bang from my kitchen as I was watching TV. I didn’t find anything out of the ordinary when I went to check. I never thought to look in the refrigerator. This morning when I went to get out some half-and-half for my coffee, I saw that one of the container lids had imploded.Fortunately, the contents (cold cuts) were still in their deli plastic bags, otherwise they would have been ruined from the bits of plastic from the shattered lid.The lits have a slight crown to them. I have been pulling a vacuum until the light comes on, on the Foodsaver unit. At that point the lids are quite concave. I am going to stop vacuuming when the lid is flat across, and see if I have any more failures. Here are two photos of the lid that broke last night.

Amazing !! We purchased the Costco version of the food saver and I was def excited to start using the marinade feature. It was nearly impossible to find anyone including the food saver website to find a container that used the marinade feature. We found one finally on Amazon with prime delivery for a good price. I was having troubles finding pictures of it works worth the oval accessory included. It does!! The size is great. 2 17 0z steaks sit level so lots of room. Very heavy construction so I’ll get years of usage out of. The marinade we did for the cycle of 12 min and let it sit for 30 min Etta ans the flavour was amazing.
