The adapter fits well and works well to control the aperture but, once you close the aperture you start to see a weird black spot in the middle of the lens. I've tried it with all of my G mount lenses and an F mount lens and all of them have this issue. Maybe there's a shift in the flange distance that causes this. Who knows. I think I'll send it back for a refund.

I have NEVER, not once, written a review for anything I’ve bought. This company is spectacular, they went above and beyond with my order and the adapter itself is so good I’ve bought 8, one for each lens. I will continue to buy their products, not only because of the product, but because of the service. 10/10Sidebar, I have one chipped, one non-chipped, and six pro, all are fantastic!

Before this adapter, I’d used a couple adapters on a GH4 to connect the Sigma 18-35 Art (a heavy APS-C lens) and the lens would have a little wobble during focus/zoom.Now that I have a BMPCC6K Pro I needed a new adapter so the Sigma can connect onto this cameras connection and this adapter is SNUG. Locked tight. It’s kind of crazy. My only issue is the strength of the manual iris ring. The two blue pieces you put your fingers on to rotate are… tolerable… but you need force to open the iris and then it almost slips and the iris starts to close. If you even barely touch those blue handles, the iris can close up a bit. I don’t know how my previous adapter held the iris open so firmly but this one seems to struggle. At least if you don’t touch it, I don’t think the iris changes at all. This camera hasn’t been moving around much during recording so I’m curious if there would be enough physical movement of the camera to cause the adapter to release the iris some and close a bit. Time will tell.

Fantastic! Should include directions to dismount from the lens though.

Works good. The area of contact though is painted brass which chips away very easily I'm a little concerned about the paint flakes getting inside the camera. Haven't noticed any yet.

I initially gave this a one star because I could not believe an adapter is not intended to be reused on different Nikon lenses, so once you put it on its intended to be left on there (make sure you buy a Canon rear cap). BUT I have changed it to 5 star, as having looked at a few of these Nikon to canon adapters, they are all the same in that they are not intended to be reused! So once you put it on the lens it should stay on there. It has absolutely no play and fits Nikon to C100 perfectly. Its solid built as well, so I have changed the score to a 5 and re-ordered another one.

While this comes on and off of the Nikon lens better than the $17 version, it still will give you vignetting when taking video/stills. So, if you are like me, and wanted to get the Canon body but still use your Nikon DX lenses, this will not do (unless you WANT vignetting in every picture!).

There is a wide variety of adapters ranging from over $330 to as low as $20, all with identical features. Reviews of cheap models several times mentioned mechanical issues, scratching and even the electric contacts of the AF-chip at times were causing damages to the camera body.+ From the photos, I saw this model has springs to add tension and provide a snug fit for the lens. And I was not disappointed.+ AF chip or not ==> I decided against it -- too much hassle programming it, especially when you use several, different lenses.+ weather sealing rings on the Nikkor lenses -- while some advise to remove that rubber ring, removing that is a clear no-no for me. I found it is not necessary and adjusting the aperture even with a "G"-lens is no problem.+ the second tab to adjust the aperture is a handy enhancement = => UPDATE : the newer model doesn't have that.- First time you use this adapter, it is difficult to see the index and how to align the lens on the one side & the camera on the other. A more distinct marking would have help. Or a single piece of paper aka. "manual"- similar for releasing the Nikkor lens -- there's a tiny latch & pin you need to press. No description.- the adapter has a very snug fit -- during the first times I was very cautious but soon recognized the necessary amount of force to lock the camera & lenses.Given the value of the Nikon lenses, saving a few dollars on an ultra-cheap adapter and risking damage or inaccurate fit seemed to be a poor choice. $80 still 1/3...1/4 the price of the more expensive brand.UPDATE :This ring has one problem -- fortunately for may, you won't see it. The mechanic to adjust the Nikon aperture doesn't have as much movement as the Nikon lenses. Fortunately for most users, you still can fully open the aperture and thus don't loos "speed". If you need large depth of field or want to extend exposures, this ring only is capable of a 5-f-stop range while many Nikon lenses have aperture rings covering 7 or more f-stops.
