It’s pretty cute. It’s perfect. Was a little difficult to assemble by myself, but it really only took about 35-40 minutes. Otherwise it’s nice. I did kind of mess up some of the particleboard when one of the dowels wouldn’t go in right all in all it’s decent for the price.

I love these shelves from this company. Have them in different colors (those are a 5 star) but my complaint is that this one (I ordered 2) doesn't use real screws to assemble. Yes it is quicker to assemble but it is not as solid in my opinion. Also the backing was at least a thin piece of wood, this one was cardboard. I placed my hand on it and it went right through! Maybe this was an old style and they switched it or maybe I had the old and this is the new style to save money. The original one I bought is not available anymore and had to buy this. Very unfortunate.

Extremely easy to assemble I did myself within 30 minutes! The quality is nice and I can store a good bit of books in it. It is now currently in my room as a shoe shelf though since i replaced my daughters toy and book shelf with something else that fits our space better in our camper. I highly recommend!

I like this a lot...but, I am limited to being a builder....I had to take it apart 3 times as I had the boards upside down and sometimes backwards...Finally got it done. It's very nice when you get it put together right...

We ordered 2 of these and we’ll see how it goes. The boxes look fine from the outside. The first one I opened all the “hardware” was loose in the box, and had some minor damage to the pieces. They are going in my closet no one will see them.I dig out the directions and it says no tools required. All the “hardware” are wooden dowels and plastic push connectors. As I’m putting it together some of the plastic connectors don’t go in the hole all the way. I figure a light tap from a rubber mallet would be fine. Not only do these connectors break there’s no way to dig them out to put a screw in.The second one I didn’t have a problem with and even a light tap with the mallet was fine. So I don’t know what was wrong with the first one. I got them both together so maybe they’ll work for a little while.

Forget the Marketing, you will need to gather your tools. Cheap plastic screws cannot penetrate wood. The holes were not properly punched so you will have to do it yourself. They say it will take 10 min to assemble: Not the case. By the time you figure out, it is the product that is the problem, you probably will have wasted a lot of time and acquired a few blisters. The Furniture looks good, but does not feel very sturdy or stable, with all the cheap plastic holding the shelves together.

I just ordered two more in the no tool, five cubby configuration. I really have to say, they are sturdier than I anticipated. Mind you, at this price I was prepared for garbage, but figured it was a cheap gamble. They are fairly substantial once constructed, though.I suppose that technically they truly could be "no tool", but I found a small (very small!) hammer and some gentle taps using a folded cloth really helped. I also liked that there were none of those empty holes for adjustable shelves. I just ordered a second set, to stack on top of the first. I'll be safety strapping those, of course.Very pleasantly surprised.

I almost canceled my order because I thought this would be super small. But the size was perfect as a toy shelf for my 1 year old. He’s 37in and the shelf comes to chest level. After his birthday and Christmas we were drowning in disorganized toys to the point my son wouldn’t engage his play corner. Shelf was easy enough to put together and was perfect size to fit all the favorites. As soon as I was organizing them on the shelf he lit up and started playing right away. Super affordable upgrade to his room. (Only note is I got a no tools required kit but a hammer really helps push fasteners in place.)

First of all, I did not expect this to be an exciting piece of furniture, I just needed something small and simple to condense the footprint my cookbooks. I have an awkward little piece of counter on one side of a cabinet, and this would make use of that space.First I dusted all of the parts as I made certain that they were all there & counted the hardware. I took pause at the plastic parts, but vetoed my common sense and placed the wooden dowels anyhow.Because stickers usually wind up in awkward places, I figured I would remove them as I assembled. When I removed the first sticker and it took the finish off, I figured it was a fluke and I'd cover it with marker, even though it would probably show a bit - while it was in-line with holes for a shelf, it was for the opposite side and would not be covered. I very cautiously proceeded to try to remove the next sticker and it happened again. No, just no. They don't even do the courtesy of labeling the unfinished side or placing the stickers where it would assemble to hide the damage. (Honestly unless there are a gazillion pieces, I don't see the point in the labels. Also, we've had this lovely "post-it" removable adhesive technology for a couple of decades now - hint, use it!)Other than the dowel pegs, the rest of the hardware is plastic. So if this is only for VERY light use, it should be fine. However, I am dubious that the plastic would hold up more than a few months with books on the shelves, even though only a limited number would fit on each shelf. And even less confident in the finish if the books I'm pulling off the shelf aren't soft-cover.Yes, it would be easy to assemble, however, I'm not going to bother. If it had been a $20 or less item, I would probably throw contact paper over it prior to assembly. For nearly $40, it's going back.Buyer beware; think about how you'll use this item and whether or not you're prepared to creatively change the finish when it inevitably comes off.
