They connect to various engine accessory drive components by a belt drive system and help ensure that components, such as the water pump, alternator, and power steering pump, receive power from the rotating crankshaft to perform their vital functions. Crankshaft pulleys also work as harmonic dampers to help decrease crankshaft torsional vibration. Paid over 200.00 dollars for a part that based on the ad and photos I thought was going to be a new part. Open the box and find a piece of crap that's been possibly sandblasted before having a crappy paint job splattered on it. Still has what looks like greasy dirt and gunk stuck in the grooves of the pulley and the edges are beat to crap. The one I have on the engine is almost in better shape than the one I just received! Not impressed at all and will be asking for a refund

I purchased what was supposed to be the exact same crankshaft pulley from 2 different stores for lower prices but neither one worked in my truck 1 of them i returned with no problem and 1 of them was a royal pain in the ass to return . the ACDelco crank shaft pully was exactly what I needed my truck is running great now .. shipping was fast and free very happy with this seller
