The Guyker 4 String Hard Tail Fixed Bass Brass Bridge is solid and heavy. It is designed for a new build or a replacement if you have the skill to drill holes in your bass. I used the string-through option and needed to open up the holes for the larger strings, but I am satisfied with the finished job.

This bridge is not a drop in replacement for a 5-screw Squire jazz bass bridge but it's a big improvement over the stock Squire bridge. You'll have drill 4 new holes. Also the string spacing is 19.8, not 19mm. That said, I still love this bridge. Though I prefer 19mm spacing I took a chance on the wider spacing and it's manageable for me. The curve of this bridge is what sold me. It follows the curve of the j-bass offset body shape. If Guyker had a 19mm version of this bridge it would awesome.

Bought this because I like bridges with quick release slots so I can try string sets and change them without having to pull them out through the bridge every time, and I like that it’s got little tracks so the saddles don’t move side to side.Guyker includes a dimensional drawing that conveniently does *not* include the distance between the rear screw holes. I made sure all the intonation and saddle screws turn and hold, since on some cheap bridges the screws for adjusting the saddles up and down sometimes just don’t hold and the string saddles sink down while playing. That quality seemed fine so I went to install it on my Harley Benton Jazz bass copy.Lo and behold, the only screw hole that aligned with an original Fender/Squier/copy 5-screw pattern is the center one. The two rear, outer screw holes are wider apart than a typical Fender/Squier/copy 5-screw pattern, so the product description is misleading. The outermost screws are just a couple millimeters wider apart, but it’s enough that you couldn’t install those screws with the holes already drilled in the body.Since this bridge is an improvement functionally and aesthetically over the stock one, I plugged the outermost screw holes in the body and drilled new ones. You could get away with holding this down with only those three rear screws, but the Harley Benton has the two forward screw holes which actually aligned perfectly. Weird coincidence. The bridge works and I like that the curved bit mimics the curve of the offset body of a Jazz bass. I don’t recommend this bridge if you’re not comfortable plugging screw holes and drilling new ones. I probably wouldn’t buy another one, but I’m fine with it for the price I paid.
