The top piece does not securely attach to the bottom piece and the bottom piece doesn't attach well enough to hold the weight when it is full of water. The top clips offer no help because it is not really clipped to the bottom. It just rests inside a groove on the bottom piece. The bath fell off the first night I used it, spilling water and leaving an opening for the birds to escape. This product does not work or fit properly on a cage with standard sized feeding doors. I would know because I worked in a pet store and all of the bird cages for small birds had the same size feeding doors
