The fish must like it since they gobble it down.

This specific food is the only thing I can find that my Gertrude spotted rainbowfish will eat. Which this specific type of fish is on the smaller size, so this food is the perfect size for them. And I especially like that it slowly sinks because these fish will rarely go after anything that continues to float.

It seems all my fish, a mix of guppies, tetras, a few Cory's like it. Have been using tetra flakes but I have to break them up as they are mostly too large and they end up on the bottom. These are pretty small and seem easy for all of the fish to eat. Size is very consistent.

I have a large community tank, that is filled with mostly different varieties of Tetris (neons, cardinals, ember, green fire, black, etc.), and then some bottom feeders like corydoras, and some small ottocinclus algae eaters. All the tetras are top and mid feeders, and the corydoras are bottom feeders. So I actually buy this floating food and I mix it all together with another Hikari brand food that is pellets that are identical in size to this but sink instead of float, and that’s how I feed all my fish simultaneously.I’ve been doing this for probably three years and the fish love it. They are very active, and all have very vibrant colors. For the price I don’t know if there’s a better food for Tetras out there.

I have an established tank with older, full grown fish. They absolutely love these micro pellets. I have been feeding my fish Hikari Micro Pellets since I started my tank almost 8 years ago. Very seldom do I loose a fish, and over half of the fish that I currently have are the originals. I believe that it is due to the quality of this food.

I was weary whether my fish would adapt to this food instead of flakes, currently the flake food i used left a lot of surface film, so I wanted to try pellets instead, these pellets are pretty small which are great for my smaller tropical fish, and these don't seem to affect water quality too much.

I have used this fish food for many years in a tropical tank with differnt speices. Compaired to other foods ive tryed though years. Id always gone back to this, so kept to it as so good. The tails and fins are so healthy also the colours on the fish so vivid and most impotrant is the overall health of the fish since using this and keeping to it . A bonous is it helps to keep water clear if used correctly. Ive Had many comments on fish in tank how they look. Even when had other fish go in to tank ,can see differnce in them aswell after a while. Twin pack saves money aswell.

I bought these to feed my chili rasboras as other pallets were a little too big for them. My fish (and prawns) absolutely love them. I would recommend for micro fish. They are semi-floating and don't stay on top for very long, so ideal for mid water fish. Given they sink after a while, they may require a bit of patience when feeding to ensure you don't overfeed and pollute the tank. i would be buying again.
