Cleaning and Maintenance
1, Please place it in a clean and dry environment, usually wipe with a cotton cloth.
2, Avoiding strong collision and fall damage.
3, Do not clean the singing bowl with hard cleaning tools such as steel balls to avoid damage to the surface.
4, Do not use strong detergents or volatile solvents of alcohol lamps to clean the singing bowl to avoid corrosion.

I got this 8 inch Himalayan singing bowl with cushion, mallet, and striker because I am hoping to get deeper into meditation practices. It’s hard to describe how the singing bowl sounds. “Beautiful” doesn’t seem like it’s enough. Imagine a sound that you *feel* - that draws in your mind and slows your breathing, that lays like a blanket over the room, that resonates through your body. It’s simple, yet profound.I love this bowl. Both the bowl and its accessories are well made and look beautiful. When I’m not using it, I have it prominently on display in our house. You receive two tools for using the bowl. One of them is covered in a black, coarse, leather-like fabric, and it’s the tool you’re supposed to use to make the bowl “sing”. There’s a way in which you can circle the bowl with the black mallet that can make it resonate for a very long time. I have not been able to perfect the technique to do this, but I think it takes a lot of finesse and practice.Overall, I’d recommend this Himalayan singing bowl.

This thing is cool but the red mallet type thing smells putrid and AWFUL. Like horrendously potent lethal glue chemicals with something…. farmy. For the price, would’ve expected better quality of all pieces.

Love this singing bowl. Sturdy. Great robust lasting sound, not tinny. Beautifully hand crafted. Flower design is unique and amazing. Arrived well ahead of schedule.
