The Hobart welder's pliers is sturdy, clamps well to do the intended job; it is stronger, better made than the newer Vice Grips.

These are a nice set of a Economy grade Weldon clamps. I took one star off because the quality of the finished plating is a little bit rough but it will do the job and you have to look at the price and consider. I could buy several sets of these for the price of the next set above this and sometimes it’s better to have more pair than a really expensive pair

These are perfect to use when we're attaching fabric to the staple system awning frames. They hold the fabric tight in the groove of the frame so we can staple the fabric in place. We bought these because we needed more since we did some larger frames.

Bought four of these as I could only find two of my Vise Grip brand. While my 15 year old Vise Grips are better constructed these do the same job. I restore old cars and use these to clamp panels so they are plenty strong enough. If I were a bridge builder I might look for something else. Think I'll buy a few more while they're still around.
