Bad unit... Car wouldn't start with the new sensor. I had to pull the starter a second time to make sure everything was correct. Then I pulled the starter a third time to put the old one back in. The car started right away with the old sensor back in.

Replaced with this sensor and car wouldn't start at all. Had to put original sensor back in. Ordered a different brand sensor (not from amazon) and it started right up after replacement. The car is still throwing a check engine light for other reasons, but the crankshaft position sensor code has stopped showing. DONT BUY THIS BRAND, IT IS FAULTY!

Bought this to replace the one in a car I bought at a deal. Had the same issue with the new sensor. Installed the new sensor and the car would not crank. Re-installed the old sensor and no cranking issues. Would not recommend.

Well my problem with my car was the check engine light came on and when I had it scanned it said faulty Crank shaft sensor I order this one and install it and the car would not start at all I checked all my connections everything checked good so I went and removed the new crank sensor installed my old sensor and car starts so for some reason the new sensor is bad. Not sure if I want to try another one from this seller or not, this car carry’s my daughter and granddaughter and is very important they have a working car at least before it would start you had to crank it for a while but it started with this new one it won’t even start
