More of a junior guitar compared to other manufacturers 3/4 size guitar. Sound quality was not at its best. Not able for easy return through Amazon (which is not on main page of product description). You have to pay to ship. I do not recommend this company!!!

This is a well made small scale guitar. I am a fan of Ibanez instruments and this is no exception. It stays in tune and plays nicely. The bag is a bit of a joke, but it at least keeps it clean. Very satisfied.

This is not a 3/4 size guitar. I have another 3/4 guitar and a full size guitars so I can see the size differences. The sound quality is not so good even when tuned properly.

This is a great instrument! For the price, you will not find a more professional starter guitar out there, this is no toy. Stays in tune pretty well for a 3/4 scale. Save yourself some time and go with this one for your kid...you'll be happy you did.

Ibanez manufacturers great quality guitars at low price. Our family owns 4 Ibanez guitars: bass; electric, semi acoustic; and acoustic. The first Ibanez IJV30 we received had a defective 4th fret. I was not seated properly (too high) so it could not be tuned properly. The second one we ordered sounds great and tunes easily. The IJV30 is well worth the money and Ibanez is a wonderful manufacturer.Music123, however, is not a reputable retailer and I would never purchase from them. Music123 refuses to provide for return shipping of the defective Ibanez. I WOULD NOT PURCHASE FROM MUSIC123. There are many other reputable retailers on Amazon and Ebay. It is not worth the hassle of dealing with Music123 because it has no quality control, customer service, or reputable business practices. Please note, this was the second defective guitar I purchased from Music123 within one month.

This was purchased for our 7 year old. He had been taking lessons for about 6 months, using an out of tune toy guitar. Finally, we purchased this so he could actually play a guitar that would stay tuned! This guitar is great. It is just a little big for his fingers, so he really has to stretch to get his fingering right. But, it will be great as he grows. And he loves the backpack for carrying the guitar around. It also has a zippered pocket that he stores extra picks and his music in. He also loves that it actually stays in tune from one day to the next! ! I would easily recommend this guitar for a child, and are pleased with the purchase.
