Excellent guitar for the money, it nice tone, neck pick up is warm, almost acoustic sounding. The bridge pick up is punchy and a little overly bright, but this allows for some fairly tight distortion. Set up was nearly perfect right out of the box, one slight intonation adjustment, dropped the action .010”, good to go.Not a big fan of walnut fretboard, but it doesn’t affect the playability. When I’m playing something that craves warmth, I prefer it over my PRS Hollowbody

I have never owned an Electric guitar before. I am 70 yrs old and this was my first. I was total surprised at how easy it was to play. wish I had gotten one a long time ago.

Although most of this is subjective, I am truly pleased with this solid, well-built hollow-body guitar. It is a good-looking instrument and it is a pleasure just picking it up and holding it. So far, I find that its tone is warm and full...and I have not yet had a chance to replace the low-quality original strings.I am satisfied with this purchase and I look forward to enjoying playing it for years to come.

This is the second Artcore I've owned, I don't typically play semi-hollows, so I could never justify to myself the cost for some of the nicer ones Gibson, et al put out, but was never happy with the Epiphone series affordable ones. You're not going to get that high end Gibson sound out of this one either, but it's still a sweet guitar. Very light for it's size, great sound range that's very easy to control, and your typical awesome Ibanez thin neck with low action. You wont' regret adding this one to your collection.
