Wow. This thing definitely changed my mind about how useful a monopod could really be. I always defaulted to tripods because they just felt like they provided more stability, despite the challenges of carrying them. And while yes, a tripod would still be more stable than this little wonder...not by enough to make it worth lugging around the weight and oversized shape all day. this can actually aid my walking, rather than detract from it. Love the feet. Kinda wish I had gotten the fluid head now. Didn't think I'd need it, because why with a monopod...but with this one, I definitely see the advantage.Well built, but better yet for someone like me, well designed. A lot of thought was put into the features of this monopod, and very clearly by the same people that would be using it. Great care was taken to make it sturdy, rugged, yet somehow super fast and easy to use. I love that I can get it from like 7 feet tall (no not really, but taller than me and I'm tall) down to tabletop tripod size in about ten seconds. that is remarkably useful when you don't. have the luxury of time when the light is changing. This is a really, really great product, and had I gotten this a couple years ago, I could have saved a bundle trying to find the right tripod that was both light and rugged. It wasn't a tripod I wanted...it was a monopod with feet.

This is an exceedingly well made monopod for the price. All the touch points are nicely finished. The anodized black is smooth to touch and there are no rough edges anywhere on the product despite everything being metal. As such, this is a rather hefty monopod that will take considerable weight in your luggage in your bag if you are flying. That brings me to another "con" depending on how you look at it - it doesn't fold small. The least height is still a lot and your best bet is to hang it outside your backpack as it won't fit in those small over the head bags. With that said, I like how tall it is : 180cms. I am 184cms and at full length + ball head my camera goes over my head so yes, its rather tall. It also must be mentioned that extending it to max height and using tripod feet is not recommended. While those tiny feet are reasonably stable at low heights, the whole thing become rather precariously balanced as you extend the legs. Don't risk it especially if it is windy. It is NOT a replacement for tripod at all. The best case scenario I can think of for those feet is indoors with no wind at all.The feet extend and contract with twisting lock rings which are pretty easy to use and have a nice feel to them. When you loosen the rings, the leg slides down on its own, you don't have to pull it out which is really handy when you quickly want to extend the height. Those tiny feet while not very useful when legs are extended, are pretty neat addition though. In case of emergency you can legit use it as a tripod the monopod is at low to medium heights. The construction of the feet is really good too and can be folded upwards when not in use. All the buttons, springs, notches are well designed and snappy and have a nice feeling when being used. The monopod does not come with a head and rightly so. That leaves you open to so many options. All in all I fully recommend this monopod if small folding size is not your main criteria.

Took the monopod to Iceland on a shoot for BTS. Got me through wind, rain, sand and tough conditions. Cleaned quite easily after a week. Just manages everything you throw at it. UK design too so I believe. No complaints from us.

I used it for a week, loved every bit of it. But the extension mechanism seems to have loosen up. It extends even without pressing the liver which I am not sure is an expected behaviour or not, but doesn't work for me, as i dont want the pod to extend just by mere jerk or juzt by pulling without even touchinclg the lever. Unfortunately have to return this, otherwise this is a great product and an amazing company without a doubt.

Nothing bad to say about this monopod in fact I recommend this to all of my photographer friends and the ones that have purchased it love it as much as I do. Excellent build quality, lightweight and really durable.

I've been carrying a big, heavy tripod for my photo/video work for years. I love it, but it is cumbersome. This monopod with a little tripod base has let me lighten my working loadout for most of my jobs while still letting me have a stable way to hold my camera.

Excellente qualité. Fixation rapide, étui de transport/protection très bien conçu.Peut être juste un tout petit peu trop lourd mais c'est le prix de la solidité. Je valide totalement !

Brand new monopod has stucked pedal downward. I'm really dissapointed. The most expensive monopod with a such poor quality. Video head is ok, for now.EDIT: a refund has been applied for a base with faulty pedal, 2 stars up for a great support.

Heel fijn eenbeen statief. Top kwaliteit. Het werken met de drie poot gaat erg goed, het statief glijdt zo niet weg. Ook erg fijn is het balhoofd onderaan het statief. Alles totaal, inclusief de prima werkende video vloeistof kop, een goed stuk gereedschap voor filmers.
