Though the part number of this matches the original part in my HP laptop, when installed I get an error upon booting that it is an unsupported device.Has anyone had success with another source for this part?

I received the part advertised, but it will not work in my Lenovo Thinkpad. This is not a fault of the product, but a design by Lenovo which won't allow unapproved, aftermarket parts to run with the system BIOS. If you want this for a Lenovo Thinkpad, my advise is to get the part number and look for the item marketed with that part number.
