Purchased when I got back into riding after a while. Definitely a good helmet at a reasonable price for new riders and kids. After 18 months of weekly wear, the adjustment dial broke. The helmet still stays on firmly, but to me that's a potential safety failure and time for a replacement. Probably will be making the investment to get a new helmet properly fitted at the store now that I'm more committed to the sport.

This helmet is really nice and fits our 6 yr old son perfect! It adjust which is great as it can grow with him or if your riding in the winter you can add a light weight hat underneath and it will still fit well. We have always used Troxell and had a hard time finding one that would fit his head but, this Equi-Lite fits great. I think I would like to have one for myself as it feels comfortable and looks great on. Low profile, not all bulky yet still providing the protection that is needed of it. We purchased the blue and it is very nice. Good looking helmet.

This is a fantastic helmet, my daughter loves it and says it is much more comfortable than the last, Very durable. Her instructor says it is a great helmet and can't believe I bought it for so little.

My daughter uses this weekly for her riding lessons and we haven't had any issues with it. It fits well and seems to be sturdy enough. It looks really nice too

This helmet offers pretty much all industry-standard protection your child needs riding his/her horse. It's light, comfortable to wear, and adjustable to feet various head-sizes (great option when you have kids of different ages who love to ride). I bought mine based on product reviews but later found them to be a standard gear in a couple of horse-riding centers we went to. Looks like the best bang for a buck to me.
