I decided to separate the tiles into colors before starting. See photo of tiles. I have a few green, a few orange, and all the rest are blue. There is no way to create either of their patterns, or any other pattern other than blue with an orange or green tile added here and there far apart. I do not believe I have enough green to even circle the pot once. I added a star because the tiles are in many varied shapes, which is helpful. If you don't care about your pot being almost entirely one color, then you might like this kit.

Very easy to make something pretty we decided to first lay pieces out on a table, make a flower, and then glue the flower to the vase and fill in the rest. Did not take a lot of time or effort product is as described.
