The straps slide right off the clips so it's a pain to use I literally have to tie the straps off to keep the clips connected to the straps and the kayak seat in place. I've threaded it through several different ways but they do not stay in place. It's annoying they don't work properly but at least the seat is on the kayak.

The clip that holds the seat on our kayak broke making it difficult to comfortably sit and paddle. I've replaced the plastic clips before and I'm glad it's easy to order online and fix. Local big box store where I purchased the kayaks did not have replacemnt clips.

My last clip got knocked into the lake by my daughter, so I found this as a replacement. It fits as it should had has held up for the couple of kayak trips that we have taken thus far.

When your kayak straps break, and they will, this kit will be exactly what you need. I find that in the Florida sun my kayak straps break once a year or so. And the buckles can break with rough use easily enough as well. This kit is worth having around.

I should have read the reviews first - it only comes with 1 strap and 1 hook set. I don't think it's worth the price at all. Will be returning.

We had one clip break in our kayak seat and I needed a replacement. This comes with one strap and 1 clip which was perfect for what I needed.
