Super fast delivery. Estimated delivery was April 17th and it came in the 11th. Works as advertised. Can't wait to take it camping!

While it did lose the race with my Jet Boil it was close. My only gripe is the burner base could be more stable. But, unlike my jet boil I will never run out of fuel on a long camp out.

I've used these. They boil water pretty well, but a better, more versatile and less expensive option would be an off-brand titanium wood stove (which folds or breaks down) and a one quart or larger anodized aluminum or stainless steel covered pot. However, if you just want a hot beverage to go with a packed lunch or trail mix, etc., these will work. The fire pan and the bottom of the kettle will get really sooty, but soot is a reality for any wood stove and the pots you use on it.

Once you get a little fire going, put the kettle over it and it increases the air flow. It boils water fast just using twigs around camp. Make sure to keep adding twigs as it burns them up quickly. Be careful not to burn yourself as the air coming out the top is really hot. You have to pick it up off the fire using a specific technique to keep your hands away from the top. Fun stove. You always have fuel. I recommend some fire starter of some sort, like a little bit of fat rope for a guaranteed fire. I own two.

If all you need to do is boil water this is the trick. Will boil water in a few minutes with a handful of sticks. If you need to cook something there are lots better options. I ordered the stopper so I could carry water in the container. The whistle serves no purpose to me as it’s easy enough to see that it is boiling.

It's a messy toy...nothing more. It works, and I love it. But I'll never use it as intended...

I bought my first Kelly Kettle 2 years ago after my brother brought his on a cold and extremely wet hike in Alaska. I could not believe how quickly we had hot water for soup and beverages with just a few twigs for fuel. This is an awesome product and it delivers hot water fast and efficiently. We both have the aluminum, 1 quart model and we use them frequently on our hiking, kayaking, and back country ski trips. Although I have the little grill accessory, I have not used it. This is a great product and you will not be disappointed in it's performance. It is a little bulky to pack but extremely light.

My Kelly Kettle (small version) just arrived. I was pleased with the quality construction of this product. They also sell a matching Pot Support and a Cook Set for this and other Kelly Kettles.I haven't had a chance to use this yet, but based on my knowledge of Volcano stoves and Irish Kettles, this appears to be a perfect example of this technology and should work as expected. I will update this review once I get outside to fire it up (pun totally intended).
