I read previous reviews and some people had issues with the box being jacked up and the step being messed up. My box was fine the packaging was fine but the steps and handle were jacked up when I opened the box. This had to have happened at the manufacturer I would think. I have not decided what to do yet. Return it or touch up the paint.

I installed this on my 2011 zx250 Skeeter. Pros: Easy to install and easy to board your boat from the front end. Cons: if you install this on your foldable tongue, then there will be some movement when using it and also when trailering it. If you can install it on the part that does not swing or is non foldable trailer, then it would be perfect. I was not able to do this because then it would be too close to my hull and I could see myself hitting it when loading the boat on the trailer at the boat ramp. I think it was pretty decent. Good quality material. Took less than 15 minutes to install. Also I've if been told if you're 200 plus pounds person, you will bend the bar when leaning on it. I basically use the bar to balance myself as I go up the steps to board my boat. I try not put all my weight on it. 😀

Built very well and easy to install. I had to install it on my fold a way trailer tongue so keep that in mind but it worked out fine.

easy install.. makes it a lot easier for kids to get on boat at ramp. works great for me (and easier access when boat is on trailer)
