Product was well packaged and labeled, no confusion about parts or which side of the vehicle they go on, all parts included. Recommend sorting all parts and getting familiar with them before install to save time. The instructions are FAIR, but there is a 5 minute video on you tube that gives you a better idea of how to complete installation. Our Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited has an air ride suspension that will jack the car up 4 inches, which makes it much easier to get under for install. All parts fit well with no issues, everything seems to be of good quality and the finished product looks like it came on the vehicle, Three very sturdy brackets support each running board so they are very stable, regardless of your weight. It is a good idea to have a second set of hands for this project, it can be done alone but will take longer and more frustrating. Overall this is a well made and attractive product.

The product was easy to install and easy to follow. I layed the parts in order of installation to help visually separate and making sure I have all necessary parts.Driver side you have to remove the some wiring harness to be able to bolt down the brackets in place. Was not difficult to do. I installed all 3 brackets from front of vehicle to back. The last bracket was slightly difficult because I had foam built inside the whole under the frame. I had to remove the foam to be able to insert the mounting bolt and properly mount the bracket.Passenger side you repeat the same process and once again I ran into foam inside the mounting whole for the last bracket. Other than that its patience what you will need to secured the brackets. I used a wrench and sockets to secured in place. I believe it was size 10mm.Once the brackets are install, the rest is really easy to do. I did not see any markings to center the running board but I think that's because this boards are more universal than anything. I eye ball it and see where it fits best.Pros. Easy to install and requires no drilling, no special tools, only ordinary household tools like a set of wrenches and ratchet with short sockets.Cons. Not molded to my 2017 Jeep GC but the lining curves with the body making it seamless. Its suppose to cover from year 2011-2017. When driving, once in a while I hear sharp loud sounds from rocks hitting the running board from below. The bottom is made of aluminum or something light. I plan to spray paint with some type of texture on the bottom, will see.

These are excellent value, a third of the cost that Mopar want for similar. Well packaged. Good instructions. Well made and good hardware. These have a stainless steel finish, a gloss black finish would have been better to match the Altitude's wheels and trim, but they don't do gloss black.Took me 2.5 hours on my back on cardboard in the garage. A creeper did not give me enough room and I didn't have the time to put the car up on stands. You will need a 18 mm deep socket and 10 mm wrenches/socket. I won't repeat what others have said about it being very fiddly to install the brackets but patience will win in the end. I had to trim the plastic sill slightly to be able to get the 18 mm socket in, no big deal and it's underneath where you cant see it, I used a drill with a hole saw to carefully make a concave clearance of about 8 mm to enable the socket to go in, a suitable grinding attachment or Dremel would work also.I did not need to leave everything loose and tighten later as the instructions stated. I tightened all the bolts as I went and the boards fit on first time, no need to have them loose.Once fitted there is a tiny gap at the rear between the rubber flashing and the car's plastic sill (not at the front though), because the 2019 sills on the Altitude are quite flared near the wheel arch. It is hardly noticeable and I can live with it, however I am sure by loosening the board hardware, sliding the boards outwards and trimming the flashing with a pair of scissors by the flare, just slightly, bit by bit, one could get a perfect fit. I might try this at sometime in the future.A great product and I would recommend it to anyone who has some basic skills.

I purchased the 5.5" stainless and aluminum boards. These fit the 2016 grand Cherokee limited very well. As documented in other reviews there will be a small gap between the OEM skirting and the rubber trim on the step by the rear door. After a few weeks on the vehicle, the rubber has "formed" to fit the contour of the car. They look completely factor now, NO GAP!As for installation, use the right tool and it is easy. You'll need a ratchet set with an short extension. There is plenty of room, just flex the body skirting out a little to get the socket in. If you're going to use open end or combination wrenches you'll have a nightmare of a time to install. The engineering behind how the brackets attach to the vehicle is excellent, no holes to drill, just remove some plugs (or thick clear plastic tape in my application). They are very sturdy and allowed for easier entry into the vehicle. I like that the boards stainless and aluminum so they shouldn't rust up here in the northern part of the country. The mounting brackets are steel so they will rust, but are hidden below so you won't see it.Overall excellent product and using the correct tools, installation is easy.
