This power circuit tester kit was purchased for my husband, as I don't personally use these tools. He has used it twice so far and said the testing results were quite good. The probe features a display screen, which makes it very convenient to use.

The product description seems to have a lot of hype in that this is some sort of "can't do without it" super tool, but in reality it is OK as a basic voltmeter and resistance checker. In these basic functions, a lot of grief can be eliminated in automotive diagnosis when used properly. So a quick probe and the information is there which is easy to see, which is a good thing. The best feature of the tool is to be able to induce current in a circuit for testing purposes. So as long as what you are testing does not exceed the tool's ability to pass current through, you can prove out your output (i.e. illuminate a light bulb). So when used properly, this can be an effective tool and potentially a time saver. The 13 foot leads are not going to reach bumper-to-bumper but when properly used, can be effective. Did not test the AC voltage or Diode function, mostly stuck with the DC voltage and resistance tests in addition to current insertion feature. When more critically accurate voltage or resistance checks are called for, I will resort to my high-end multi meter. So the tool does have some practical use, despite the restriction to the length of its leads; but is not a replacement for all else in the arsenal. So again, a bit of hype in the description of the tool, which is really just OK.

This little tester works great for testing and evaluating a multitude of vehicle electrical issues. I haven't had the need to use all of its functions, but it performed well for my uses. It's a step up over a multimeter as far as vehicle troubleshooting is concerned.

I’ve only tried this circuit tester prob once just to see how well it works. I had a friend test some voltages on my car just for trial checks and it worked perfectly. He even pulled a fuse to check for an open circuit and that worked as well. This is a great tool to have in your car to help track down any electrical faults. This prob is well made with a display for easy diagnosis and a 13 foot cable to help reach almost all areas of your vehicle.

This thing's a pretty cool little tool! It's got the basic multimeter stuff but in a form factor that's great for the driveway instead of a desk inside. (I haven't really gotten it greasy yet but seems built to take it.)And atop the basic multimeter stuff, also what amounts to a basic little oscilloscope mode! So you can more visually see flaky connections, noisy generators, sagging voltages and stuff. The switch button in the middle is kind of the final bonus, lets you shunt the tip to either supply 12V ("positive") or short to ground ("negative") whatever you're probing. It is a bit of a bummer that this has to be connected to the battery to work, as that makes it a bit less useful for testing trailer wiring or cabin wiring or really anything not in the engine compartment itself. But it does have a decent long cable so it's possible just less convenient.

I recently ordered the KZYEE KM05 Super Power Circuit Probe Tester and it has proven to be an invaluable tool for diagnosing car circuit systems. This tester is designed to work with both 12V and 24V systems, making it versatile for a wide range of vehicles. If you find yourself needing to troubleshoot shorts or wire breaks, you need one of these. In my car, I've been having CANBUS errors and this probe has been great for troubleshooting them. The KM05 excels in its ability to test AC and DC voltage, locate shorts, and measure diode resistance, ensuring comprehensive diagnostic capabilities. The 13-foot cable provides ample reach around the car. Its user-friendly interface and robust construction make it durable and reliable for regular use. Overall, the KZYEE KM05 offers exceptional performance and versatility. I highly recommended for both professional mechanics and DIY enthusiasts!

This is handy to have around to check continuity, fuses, and a few other basic automotive or trailer issues. The wires with battery claps have almost a 14 foot reach, which is handy to check fuse boxes in your dash, and MAY reach the back of your car/SUV to check trailer connections, etc. The other built in functions are basically useless; use a proper multi-meter for AC, resistance and diode checking. The AC function DID NOT work, it read 67 VAC on my wall outlet, which was actually 121VAC. It does not have it's own power and must be connected to your car battery, or at least a small 12 volt DC battery source to be able to use it. Testing trailer wiring, lights, connections etc will need a portable power source. This one has a long, narrow probe that fits into electrical outlets and small places to find a connection. The probe is insulated to about 1/2 inch from the tip. The 1/2 inch is still enough to be able to contact positive to a ground surface, so be careful. It probably deserves a 3 star, but I gave it 4 because the device worked well for diagnosing things further away than just under the hood.
