The quality is not the best but for their price they do theirs job. Specially if you need 3" size ,thats little difficult to find around.

The description shouldn't be calling this a dryer vent. A dryer vent must be at least 4 inches in diameter, this one is 3 inches. Even Lambro's product web page doesn't mention dryer usage: "This vent is used for bath fan exhaust and other general venting applications".I wanted a 4-inch vent hood for my bathroom fan install but there was only enough space in the wall cavity to fit a 3-inch, so I went with this one. It's fine for bathroom fans of modest airflow (about 70 CFM or less). I would've preferred an aluminum or galvanized steel vent but there aren't many choices in the 3 inch size.pros:-unlike some reviews, mine arrived in good condition - except the plastic grille was missing-the aluminum pipe can be installed with the seam facing up - many other vents have the seam on the bottom which could allow condensation/moisture to drip out the bottom-the included 11 inch aluminum pipe is decently long - enough to pass through most walls-the flap closes pretty tightly when the fan is off (my old vents stay open a few mm which lets in cold air in winter)-for a 3 inch vent, the hood itself is large and the flap swings open to a large angle, which minimizes airflow restrictioncons:-mine arrived with the plastic grille missing. I'll make my own out of gavlanized mesh but I shouldn't have to-the aluminum pipe is thin and light (but good enough to serve its purpose) and plastic never lasts long in direct sunlight - I'll see how it holds up after a few years-the hood is shaped to deflect the airflow largely downward - I'd prefer a more regular profile that deflects the airflow (steam in winter) more outward, away from the wall

Only for the plastic portion. No flange and no 3” metal pipe piece as mentioned by other reviews and descriptions and photos!Will be returning

I am using this to vent my electric pottery kiln to the outside of my studio. It is a perfect fit for the 3 inch vent exhaust pipe from my Skutt kiln. Of special note is the fact that this exhaust vent has a forced air activated door built in so that varmints and insects cannot enter the vent when it is not in operation. I am supremely satisfied with this piece of equipment and I recommend it highly.

Good quality and easy to install. The only issue I have had over time is that the rodent filter that fits on the outside of the unit is difficult to attach and if you get it wrong it interferes with the flap.

Only recieved the plastic hood. Missing the pipe and also the plasting back plate. Also the hood is very flimsy! I would stay away from this one.

Bought an old house with a really weird dryer vent on the outside and while it might be effective after 65 years was dry and brittle. I bought a new updated one from a local hardware store and to my surprise learned I have a 3" pipe and not 4. I searched high and low and this was one of the only options so I gave it a shot and it was perfect! The bottom screw holes are inside the plastic vent hood so I'm not sure how I'm supposed to reach those, I attached only the top ones and it's so snug I'm not worried about it. Has a close flap and the bird grate. Worked like a charm

The plastic vent is decent for the price. However, I am returning the item because the metal tube came as a flat piece and the plastic piece around the tube was missing. If you only need the vent, it would work.
