This vent was truly very easy to assemble. It comes with multiple extra filters which is great with keeping the dust down.I didn't need to use the hose that came with this since I already had a similar set up, but included hose and clamp are very sturdy. My clothes actually smell so much better since using this vent system, I just had a hose piped into a 5 gallon bucket previously so this is a great upgrade and could immediately tell the difference I really appreciate the filter system's easy to clean out and the extras filters that came with it. The water level has a clear lens to be able to see when you need more or to change it. I didn't need to use the mount kit but it comes with if you need to mount it on a wall. A really great buy and really easy install I didn't need my husbands help!

TLDR: A nice solid unit if you need an indoor dryer kit. Easy to set up, but had one minor (?) manufacturing defect. Some confusion about water reservoir capacity, but that doesn’t affect performance. Looks better than my old square box. Working fine after a couple of runs.---------------------------------------Unboxing: Everything comes tightly packed in its box. In fact, all accessories are packed inside the dryer box itself: four sets of replacement filters (plus one installed), a ten foot dryer hose, 2 clamps for the hose which are hand tightened, and a baggie with the instructions, mounting screws, and mounting bracket. Everything very neat and tidy.Issues: My unit did have a small manufacturing defect in that one of the inner clamps, which hold the final filter, wasn’t properly extruded and is at an angle. So, my filter will “hang by a clip” not two. Time will tell if that will be an issue.The water reservoir is roughly 2/3 of my old (12 years plus – no filters) square box. My measure to the “10” fill line was 2 cups, 4 ounces = 20 ounces, just a tad above the internal baffles. Not the 23 advertised. Their instructions are clear to only fill to the “10” line. I was able to pour in another 4 ounces easily (i.e., 24oz) but you are then above their recommended water line. A little bit of confusion here, I guess.Mounting: I will not go into the mounting part as my location doesn’t allow it. I ran it sitting off on the side where the old box sat, and it wasn’t an issue. The only thing is that, now, the vent faces another direction—no big deal.Design: The design with rounded curves is a huge upgrade for me and the main reason I picked this up. Much better than my old square box.General Comments: A couple of dryer runs worked well. I like the filters since they catch lint. The cooling effect of the exhaust isn’t a priority for me; I don’t mind that non-airconditioned space being warmer as my old dryer will suck in warmer air and thus will use less electricity to heat it for drying.I sense that the filters can be hand-washed and reused, but I just get regular lint not pet hairs, etc. It is still nice to have some extra sets.Overall, a nice unit to have for small spaces that do not have a dedicated dryer exhaust system. So far, all good.

This works pretty great! I thought it was gonna go through the filters and the whole house would smell like lent but it catches it and keeps it inside this vent. Very easy to set up and love that it comes with a lot of extra filters. Not to mention it's very easy to clean. So far I highly recommend this

This vent kit appears to be well made and thoughtfully packaged. The filters are neatly stacked, and the water drawer system looks easy to manage. I liked the concept and was hoping it would work for our GE Profile electric dryer.Unfortunately, the exhaust hose included was too small to fit our full size unit. It seems better suited for a compact or stackable washer and dryer setup.Even though we could not use it, the build quality was solid, and it may be a great fit for other models.

Was looking for a better set up for my dryer to catch the lint . My old box had slats that were at an angle and just wasn’t functional. This box installed easily and quicker than a traditional box. The filters help catch all the lint and dust and comes with 6 layers. The filters helped me with my allergies because the air coming out is cleaner. The dryer kit is built well and is durable and helped with my drying time. The kit comes with everything you need to set up your dryer and I highly recommend this product.

Everything is a tight fit, except the screws for mounting, those could use a larger head. You definitely want a tight fit so dust or air doesn't get out, and this unit should not be used in place of the dryers actual lint trap! A couple things to note when installing: 1. attach the hose before mounting to the wall otherwise it's a struggle to get your hand around for a good fit; and 2. make sure to level the mounting bracket properly, or your water level will be drastically off. Don't let it run out of water and don't overfill the unit. It comes with extra filter sets, but it takes a while to get through one set if you're using it properly. This unit blows directly into the room the dryer is in, so if it is in a small area, the room does get warm. There is plenty of hose length, so if your dryer is on the left instead of the right you can wrap it behind the washer before mounting to the wall. (I had to do this). It would be nice if the unit came with an inlet on the right side (instead of the left) for different set ups, but it's manageable.

I haven’t installed this kit yet, but so far it seems like a solid buy. I've never vented a dryer indoors before, so this is a new setup for me—but based on what I’ve read and seen, the design looks thoughtful and efficient.The 6-layer filter system, water drawer, and included 10ft foil hose all seem well made and should help maintain air quality while catching lint effectively. The extra filters are a nice bonus too.I'll update this review once I have it installed and running, but if you're using an electric dryer and can’t vent outside, this looks like a smart and energy-efficient solution worth trying.
