Too thin. Difficult to clean and reuse. The plus being they are a lot cheaper than the thick ones.

These filters are very filtery. They are blue.

My dryer vents into the garage. (I know, not the right way to vent. My home was originally with a car port that was closed in as a garage & by then there was no simple way to reroute the vent.) In the past I used a 5-gal bucket partially filled with water that vented through a topper. There was no filter & the water was supposed to trap and hold the lint as the hot dryer air swept over the surface of the water. This still allowed fine lint to enter into the garage. This filter works to capture all loose lint and is easy to clean and replace.

I certainly like the price of these, well at first.But they are only about half the thickness of the Better Vent brand refills.this filter doesn't catch the lint as well, since it is so thin. I found quite a bit of lint on top of my dryer, so I know it's allowing more lint to blow through instead of catching the lint inside the filter.I've had to double them up, using 2 filters stacked together to replicate the name-brand filter. So when these run out, I will order the Better Vent name brand filters. They work much better, even though they cost more. But it may work out better actually, since I'll only be using 1 filter at a time instead of having to use 2 together.
