Super lightweight yet keeps me perfectly warm.Originally, I bought a larger size and I was swimming in it. I returned for 2 sizes smaller and it fits just right. I love that it gives me a hourglass silhouette.

Great jacket, lightweight but very warm. I had to return the first one because the zipper was broken but an easy exchange and the second one is perfect. This weighs less than a pound and will be great for travel…will take up little space. Size medium was perfect (5’3” and 140). Lands End items are quality.

Amazing to me that this fits as well as it does on my pear shape! Very very soft and lightweight. Checks nearly all my boxes. A 2-way zipper would be nice, but the jacket is short enough that it doesn’t really matter that much.

Have bought 3 of these in different colors. Fits very well; sized appropriately, looks warm and pretty on my wife. Has two external pockets and an inside built-in pocket that is actually the carry pouch for you to turn the jacket outside in and fold it into the internal "pocket" for easy stow-away. Recommend the jacket!

This is a nice, very lightweight, packable down jacket. I like the length as it covers my rear end. Other reviews about the sleeve length are correct: I have very short arms (think T-Rex), and they are not really too long for me, which is a bonus for me, but will likely be too short for anyone with normal or longer arms. The shoulder area and top of the arms could use a little more down filling, so hoping it will keep me warm in cold weather (I have not worn it in sub 50 F weather yet). Based on reviews, I ordered a Small, and it's still pretty wide on me even though I'm often a Medium in other brands (for reference, I'm 5'4" and 133 lbs). That said, I'm keeping it, since it will give me room to wear a thick sweater or sweatshirt with other layers if needed in the cold. Overall a nice, lightweight down jacket for the price.

I have been a loyal Lands End customer for many years. The last few coats I've purchased, however, I've questioned the temp rating. I love this jacket in every way - the fit, the hood fit, the packability, etc. - but after receiving it I've been walking short stints in above freezing temps with a medium weight turtle underneath and I can't say that I've been toasty. I'm going to keep it for all the other reasons stated, but I cannot imagine being cozy warm in 7 degrees - under freezing temps for more than a few minutes unless I had some mega warm clothes, including a thermal layer underneath. That said, it runs a little big so would allow for those layers.*** Update 2023 - still love the jacket for reasons above, however it is NOT waterproof. It's water resistant. If you are in a downpour, you will get soaked.
