The jacket is 100% polyester and the advantage of a synthetic fiber is that it can be really lightweight taking almost no space at all, with good weatherproofing qualities but with the downside that body doesn't breathe much but I guess it has to be a compromise somewhere.It has an elasticated band around the waist and the sleeves which gives it a neat looking fit but also keeps the elements away.The pockets are spacious and it has a hood with an elasticated edge as well and when the jacket is zipped all the way up, it offers good protection around the neck area.It is true to size and doesn't look baggy so it has a good fit too.A thin jacket which you can simply pull out of your handbag when bad weather hits.

I was hoping this “rain jacket”, “rain coat” was a little thicker and had a slicker fabric for waterproofing, but it is more of a thin windbreaker. It will work for light rain coverage, but in no way is it a rain coat. The fabric is very a nice quality and is light and very soft. The fit is comfortable and true to size. The zipper works well and moves freely; the pockets are a good size. The hood had a tie to secure it of needed. If you’re looking for a windbreaker with some rain protection, this will due. If you’re looking for a rain coat, this is not it.

This is a very handy little jacket. It is not all too stylish and cool-looking, but it is great for stuffing into your backpack when you are planning a hike. It looks very decent once you wear it, it is not something I would choose to wear to impress but it is functional and looks nice. It folds quite small and works well. Not perfect, but works and won't make you look out of place on a walk or a school run.

That being said, this review is NOT swayed by that, and (as always) contains only my real thoughts on the product; good and bad.]I requested the ‘LAZAWG Women's Raincoats with Hood Waterproof Lightweight Outdoor Waterproof Jackets‘ XL, Carbon Black.The jacket arrived and it is exactly as per the seller’s description. The fit is true to size, see the seller’s size chart. The jacket is a true black colour and there are flashes of neon yellow on the shoulder seams at the front and alongside the length of the zip. The jacket is lightweight but not because it is made from poor quality fabric, the fabric feels good quality and the seams are all stitched well. The zip runs smoothly and the size of the pockets are decent and functional although they don’t zip up, so they are not really suitable for valuables, in my opinion. The hood is a good shape and fits comfortably over my head. This is a practical jacket for days when it is threatening to rain but I don’t want to take a warm coat. It will be ideal for hiking over a jumper in spring and autumn, useful too in the summer. For the price of £17.99, at the time of this review, I am happy to wear and recommend this to you. 5 stars.

This is a really stylish waterproof jacket that is very thin and superb quality. The zip works well, and the yellow accents on the top of the jacket look great and also help with visibility. The coat is extremely waterproof but doesn't have that 'rubbery' feel that is so often found in waterproof jackets. I can roll it up and shove it in my backpack. Super useful for dog walks when I get caught out with the unreliable weather forecast. Brilliant!

I really like this rain jacket! I live in South FL where it often randomly starts raining, which is why I decided to purchase a rain jacket. I’ve already put it to good use when I went on a run and it started drizzling. This jacket is extremely light, yet it’s durable enough to keep me completely dry! My hair didn’t even get wet, as the hoodie actually stays in place without flying off in the wind. This jacket is also easy to pack, hence why it being lightweight makes a huge difference. In addition, it easily folds and fits into anything one is carrying.
