No sirve como maternidad, los alebines salen por los lados. El fijado a la pecera es malo y por esto y el movimiento del agua los alebines son aplastados.

The 5 way bredder is nice but my new fry was small enough to get out threw the vents holes on each side also the holes in the panel I had to line the panel with mesh then insert the panel. I had to use another breeder box until they got a little bigger so they cant get threw the vents.

I've used to isolate a sick fish as well as a raising fry. I really wish that it floated instead of having to attach it to the side of the aquarium.

I bought this to use it as an in-tank isolation chamber. It works great for my 10 gallon tank. The water flows in and out and my sick fish doesn't.

Trap holes are to large. Fry get stuck in holes or just go thru into main tank. Bottom blocking floor holes cover floats up and down with water movement killing baby fish. Come on people this isnt rocket science. Build them better.

I actually purchased this with the plan of using it as an in-tank refugium (salt-water tank), and it looks like it will be just fine for what I want it to do. In fact, with the way it sits in the tank, I might be tempted to start growing some Mangroves out of it as well. The one thing that kind of bugs me is the "hooks": they're nice because you can bend them to your tank rim, but they're a little short which doesn't leave much room for height/depth adjustability. Plus, the way the box attaches to the hooks (just sits on their via slots on the back), isn't all that secure; especially since the box floats a tiny bit with the current. So if the manufacturer provided a rigid box-to-hook connection and gave anywhere from 3-6 inches more length for the hooks (would also allow me to create extra bends, which would also allow the box to sit flatter against the glass...hopefully), I would give this 5 stars, but currently, I'll stick with my slightly generous 4 star rating.
