Fit 2012 Pathfinder SE. Once access was gained, it took less than 5 minutes to replace. I decided to replace both the latch and release button while I had the panel removed. A very simple job. Works as expected.

Not strong enough to release when tailgate is fully latched. Will work when half latched but not fun driving around with the tailgate bumping around.

Read that non oem latched were junk. Put this on a year ago and fits right, and plugged in to harness

I purchased this latch to replace my malfunctioning OEM one. At first, this replacement was great, however 4 months after purchase and installation, it has completely stopped working.The OEM latch lasted for 10 years, this replacement didn't even make it for half of one year. Since I will need to replace this latch, there isn't really any cost savings, making it an expensive, poorly made product.
