I put both the bars up on my tree and hung 2 Slim Par 64 on each. I just noticed that one of the sidebars is cracked in the plastic area. Never noticed it when I got them. Frustrating

The Ultimate Support 24" Sidebar is the perfect edition to existing light rigs or speaker stands (how i use them most). As I mobile DJ, I'm always looking for ways to do more with less. If you're used to Ultimate Support's quality and design, these are the same. The pre-drilled holes are perfect to mount lights using the included hardware or with your choice of a C or O clamp. Slip them over your stand, tighten, mount your light(s), and your ready to party. Safe and secure. I highly recommend the sidebar.

I like the ultimate stands but sometimes I purchase some knock offs. Cheaper but adequate for my needs. I saw a review where another jock had used C clamps and a short bar to attach led effects and lights to his speaker cabinet via the fly point and needed a short bar to accomodate this rig. But as soon as I got it in I thought, hey, let's give it a shot on my light stand. FANTASTIC. This are sturdy, solidly built and if you have light stands already but want to hang a few extra low weight items on it, these are really great. I ordered four more sets to go on all my trees.
