It was a fairly easy install. At about 18 months, I started noticing rust developing. Now, at the 3-year mark, there is an unacceptable amount of rust. I expected better

Installed on my 2015 Duramax. Good solid steps with all heavy duty hardware included. I did not read install instructions. Watched a 12.25 minute video from Etrailer on Westin HDX Nerf Bar Install Video. I installed them by myself in about 3 hours. Easy install, but I did have to take the time to drop the def tank and place it on milk crates until install was done. Don’t forget to use the smaller bolts from the center bracket to the steps. That is the second bracket from the front on the install. It actually sits in a pocket on the steps, while the others are flush. That was not explained on the video. I did a lot of research on the square style steps before buying these. Great product. Very happy with the look and sturdiness.

I put these in my new GMC I wasn’t sure how they were going to look but now that they’re on I love the way they lookThey are very sturdy and the third step is a must have I’m very happy with my choice
