The original, award-winning Morrison Outdoors Little Mo 40 Baby Sleeping Bag is designed to provide the safest fit for the youngest campers, featuring adjustable open-and-close cuffs on the sleeves. It includes synthetic insulation, making it suitable for temperatures as low as 40°F (4°C).
This sleeping bag is ideal for babies aged 6 to 18 months, weighing at least 15 pounds (6.8 kg) and measuring between 24 to 34 inches (61 to 86 cm) in length.

The shell is crafted from 100% Ripstop Nylon, offering an incredibly soft touch. It includes open/close cuffs to provide warmth when needed.

How did you come up with the idea for this product?
Morrison was just about 10 weeks old when we embarked on our first camping trip together in Grand Lake, Colorado. That night, he was wrapped in four or five layers of clothing that were bulky and uncomfortable, yet still failed to keep him warm. None of us managed to get much sleep that weekend, leaving us pondering, "Why isn’t there a sleeping bag that is both warm enough for camping and safe for growing babies?"
What makes your product special?
Our unique innovative, patent-pending design merges the safety and comfort of a sleep sack with the warmth and snugness of conventional sleeping bags. For added safety, there are no hoods or drawstrings, and the cozy, soft collar ensures that smaller infants won't slip inside. Recognizing how quickly babies grow, we crafted a product that accommodates up to 18 months of growth. Featuring adjustable open-and-close sleeves, the Little Mo 40 allows little ones to use their hands before drifting off to sleep while keeping them warm throughout the night.
What has been the best part of your experience?
Over the past six years in business, we’ve experienced some truly thrilling moments. Reaching our Kickstarter goal that launched the company was an incredible milestone. Receiving our first order from REI felt like a dream come true. Expanding our product offerings and reaching customers in various locations around the globe has been equally rewarding. The list of achievements so far has been endless!
However, the highlight is undoubtedly the heartwarming photos of joyful, happy kids sent to us by parents. Hearing how they've felt empowered to camp with their kids in colder weather is simply amazing. It’s wonderful to know that we’re helping families create lasting memories together.

We bought this for our 5 months old. It seems to fit comfortably, but it is very long. I like that though because it means we will get a lot of use out of it camping as he grows.

Had my baby test it out before our camping trip to get him used to it... He fell asleep so fast and absolutely loved it! It's so soft and nice quality! I didn't have to worry about him being cold bc you know kids sleep like wild animals coming right out of blankets and contorting themselves into all different shapes. With this sleeping bag I know he won't come out, is very comfortable and warm! Also it's SO soft! And compact! Love it!

The material is good and can keep your baby very warm. However, the neck opening is pretty small, which frustrated my kiddo. The way the zipper is set up, you start zipping it at the neck and then go down to the feet. As a result, you can't leave the zipper open a bit at the neck even if you want to.

We took our one year old daughter camping in New Hampshire, night temps in the 60s for one trip and low 50s for the next. When it was 60, I just vented the bottom of the zipper and she was warm but not sweaty, and slept great. It’s a bit slippery to hold on to her if we leave her in it in the morning but she is so cozy! Love that we can choose to cover her hands at night.

10/10 recommend this!! Our family loves camping and I was so nervous to go with an 11 month old. We don’t have him sleep with blankets because of safety hazards, so I was nervous about camping and not being able to feel like I had control of the temperature & if my baby was staying warm. This brought me so much peace of mind! We sleep with a sleep sack at home and so this was perfect!! He had no problem being in it, it’s super soft and comfortable, and I was able to relax at night knowing he was warm enough in his sleeping bag/sleep sack. I definitely recommend this to go camping with. It’s also great cause he’ll be able to use it for the next year or so.

I have bought 2 of these bags! One in the smallest size and the size up for our almost 1 year old and our 3yr old.I love these so much as our 3yr old doesn’t sleep in blankets very well and obviously our 1yr old can’t lolIt’s comforting to know they are staying warm and there isn’t a huge risk for our youngest.If it is a warmer night we just unzip a little on the bottom and that seems to do the trick!Our 3yr old loves wearing it and gets excited to put it on! Lol

We used this sleeping bag/ sleep sack when we took our toddler camping in April. It got down to 40 degrees at night and she was still warm! I bought this because it meets the American Association of Pediatrics safe sleep recommendations. We put baby to bed on her back in a sleep safe pack n play with no hat and nothing loose around her. I wouldn’t suggest adding anything else to the crib if your child is in the sleeping bag because they may overheat. We brought a back up thinner sleep sack on our trip in case the weather ended up not being cold at night. The fabric around the neck is super soft and cozy, the zipper zips away from the face, and there are mitten cuffs. The arms were a bit long but we will get a lot of use out of this! It comes with a storage bag that compresses the sleeping bag so it doesn’t take up much space.
