The product is plug and Play as with all the regulators on this motorcycle. The mounting holes lined up perfectly power plugs worked perfectly even has a free keychain with it. That is not why I purchased this product but a nice extra touch. It works well my charging system is right on course for where it belongs

This voltage regulator was being mounted on a 2006 Dyna Street Bob. One of the plugs was not properly assembled and would not seat properly. The product did not work because of the this assembly flaw. Spend the money and go with a brand name or Harley OEM part. These Chinese aftermarket regulators do not have good reviews, and this is another one to add to the pile. My Harley will now be down for another week because of the defect in this product. Very disappointing.Steer clear of these low price, basically knockoff products. Look for a warranty of 90 days to a Year.
