Once this "old person" remembered that software download have to be installed to work (I mean, really!!), this web cam works like a charm! So glad I made this purchase!

I got this webcam when we transitioned to work from home (WFH), and it has worked flawlessly.I got this model specifically because it didn't have a working microphone, as I have a mic in my headset an didn't want to deal with the headaches of managing a mic on the webcam too.The picture quality is fine and I don't have any criticisms of it.Also great is that it has a standard threaded hole on the bottom of the holder, so you can attach this to standard mounts and tripods.And lastly, it's awesome that it comes with a privacy cover built in, so you can easily close and open it between meetings, if privacy is important to you.Great, versatile webcam that's perfect for any WFH setup.

I didn't read that the microphone was disabled so I lost 20 minutes troubleshooting it. Installed "Logi Tune" and flipped the switch to enable it. I am not sure what is the point of disabling a microphone (a malicious app could enable it easily). Now it works as intended

This model has no audio, but a short online file can fix that. Great camera if you download the camera app and use it. Great sound. I use it on a really good laptop because it solves many sound, picture, and lighting issues easily. the laptop cam and mic are good, but nothing like this. Sound is almost as good as a standalone mic.

Works great for online school work. 1080p image is noticeably better looking than another similar Logitech webcam that only had a 720p sensor. The image isn't perfect by any means, but what do you expect for a name brand webcam that's less than $60?The microphone is disabled by default (this is noted as such in the product description!) and can easily be enabled with a one time update with the Logi Tune software from Logitech. Once the microphone is enabled is stays that way even if the device is plugged into a different computer.You might ask why would Logitech sell a webcam with the microphones disabled? Some corporations and government agencies require the microphone be disabled by default for security or IT related reasons. It's very easy for the average home user to enable the mic via the Logi Tune software and once the mic is enabled the software can be uninstalled from the machine.
