This product is pure trash.. I purchased to replace 1 broken shaft, installed when received, got about 15 minutes of play, then 2 broke (the one I replaced and the other side. The rear design of the v100 is weak and they chose to only replace with cheap plastic. They are an RC company in a business that can make hop ups to help enhance their product but chooses to make sure their customers need to buy their inferior product to keep the money flow.I’ve attached a photo of the broken shafts, all 3 had broken in the same spot, right at the connector, I had purchased multiple kits thinking just in case it breaks again later down the line, didn’t realize it would be the same day.After shipping, price can be 20 dollars a pop for 15 minutes of fun. I would avoid buying any LOSI V100 models until they correct this problem or if you are into modding it with competitive product and customizing to fit, there are people who own these cars that have done just that to fix.Pros and Cons for owning a V100Pros:Low cost vs other brands for an RTRIt will force you to take it apart, which is part of what the hobby is aboutFixing your own stuff or doing upgrades can be therapeutic for the mindFoam wheel/tire options work for cost savings for replacing more expensive stock rubber wheels.Cons:It’s going to cost you when you need to replace these shaftsParts are not readily availableMinimal hop up parts availableIf you go brushless, it will breakGood luck in whatever you decide, perhaps get a Kyosho MK2 Fazer as they seem to have the most options vs other brands including body choices. I do not own one to provide quality opinions.I went with Losi because of the RTR out the box included options, was suckered in by the led lights included vs the mk fazer.Regardless, for those who love these type cars, spread the love by playing with it and having convo’s with others who inquire about it, perhaps they find interest, buy one and make this hobby big again and then the support will come. The acquisitions and mergers slowly kill it, but hey it’s a business.
