For the transformer's stability and longevity, we highly recommend that the total wattage of your lights had better not exceed 75% of Transformer’s capacity. (45/120/200/300/600/900 x 75%= 33.75/90/150/225/450/675W)

This low voltage power supply is extremely user friendly, easy to use. Very reliable. I’ve had the same exact product in place for about 10 years give or take. Old one still works fine fine. Just installing this new one on the other side of my home. The photo-sensor works well (dusk till dawn).

My old transformer stopped working so replaced it with this new Malibu one. Very easy to install. Has different options on how you want your lights to come on and off. Reasonably priced for a good unit.

I needed a new transformer, but I was hesitant, this one really looked nice but it does have some bad reviews. So I ordered it and installed it. It set up fine and it functions exactly as it’s supposed to. I waited several weeks before leaving a review to see how it did, and it’s fine. It really is the best looking of the affordable transformers and seems like quality.July 2024: this has been in constant use for a year now and it has performed flawlessly.November 2024: unit has no output on any setting, digital clock displays fine, so it lasted 1.5 years, hardly warrants recommendation. Whatever I get to replace it I’ll get the 3 year warranty for $7.

I loved how it set up and worked, but just over 2 years it quit working. It was lightly loaded, just 15 watts and was not getting wet. I can’t find warranty info, so I guess I’ll need to buy a new, different brand this time.

I replaced my old Malibu clock timer on my landscape lighting. I picked this model because I replaced the old quartz Halogen and incandescent bulbs with LED bulbs. I reduced my wattage load from 75 watts down to 16 watts. I was able to use the smaller 45watt power pack because of changing to LED bulbs. All the bulbs were much brighter than the old bulbs even though they consumed less electricity.I especially like the magnetic door latch on the cover of the power pack. The controller is very easy to set up and to set a program. Just rotate a knob the set the desired function. It has a clock with a red digital display for setting specific run times. I also like the light sensor that has a mounting bracket and about 3 feet of wire. I set my lights to come on at dusk and run for 4 hours. This is just one of the many ways to use the power pack controller. I was very surprised the first night at how bright the lights were.I can run my light 4 times as long now and still use less electricity. I am also hoping that the cooler LED bulbs won't entice critters to build homes in my step light boxes during the winter. I always get spiders and ant colonies in the step lights due to the lights being mounted in the brick wall along my steps.

I loved everything about this. Amazingly easy to use. However, though it only worked for 45 days. After that no more voltage. I put my meter on it and it's dead.
