This product has a feature to have the light come on at dusk and off at a programmed time. When I select this feature the lights stay on all the time. When you test the photo cell it works normal. Just not when the knob is selected on this feature. All other functions work normal. On at dusk and off at dawn works well however I prefer not to use the electricity to keep them all on all through out the night.

My old Malibu transformer went out a few days ago, I’m not sure how old it was but I purchased the house 5 1/2 years ago so it was at least that. The new Malibu transformer was super easy to install and program the timer (it has multiple choices), I choose the timer setting because I didn’t want to thread the photo eye through the insulation to get it outside of my home. So far, so good and at a great price!

Malibu Lighting went out of business in 2014 and from our understanding their digital low voltage transformers were made up until that time. You can still find these transformers in the market for sale but there is one issue causing these magnetic transformers to fail. There is a small battery on the control board that when it fails the transformer usually stops working.I just bought mine so hopefully I get some time out of it before it fails, wish I had found this out beforehand.If someone knows this not to be true, please let us know, found the info on YouTube.I have not had any issues, just installed.

I have 120 watts of yard lighting and tis transformer refuses to work or when it does, it then quits unexpectedly

My original was a Malibu and trust me they’ve come a long way. Easy to install, easy instructions, the settings and dials not complicated and it worked the first night. Surprise surprise... All kidding aside, great product.

Had a problem with 1st unit was noisy. I’m extremely pleased with customer service. Replaced unit no charge arrived next day. 2nd unit worked perfectly. Excellent unit and excellent seller. Highly recommend.
